Semiconductor Devices: The IGBT (Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor)

In this video we introduce the IGBT, or insulated gate bipolar transistor. This can be thought of as a combination of a BJT and a MOSFET. It is useful in power applications.

Floating a question here. What would cause an EOS on a die IGBT? Basically a tiny hole that burns through from bottom to top on the emitter pad during high load stress testing.

Can you please do a video covering the Introduction to RL and RC Circuits lab from your Laboratory Manual for AC Electrical Circuit Analysis? If you're looking for a model to wrap your head around, I suggest thinking of something like a Darlington or Sziklai pair but where the first transistor is a MOSFET.
