40:00 Gotta know your Head Chef's perks. Mr Roux favours Traditionalism & simplicity with the push being made on big flavour and technique. It's sort of an acid test for many of todays younger ''Modern new-age Creative' chefs.

He is actually quite annoying, especially in these older series! He's gotten marginally better over the years, even contradicting the pro's now and then, which is a relief!

Greg can be quite incredibly annoying in the Masterchef series. He won’t give the contestants a minute’s peace, no matter how busy they are. I hate the way he eats, too. He uses a fist to hold his cutlery - he actually seems to clamp his mouth on the cutlery and just drags it out of his mouth. Turns my stomach watching him. He can be kind, sometimes, to the contestants, though, in his favour.
