4:22 She’s probably shading Kakania, but I wonder if this is also a reference to what happened to Ignaz Semmelweis, the physician and scientist who was mocked for encouraging hygienic practices when treating patients and then was institutionalized (and died from an infection at said mental hospital) after a nervous breakdown.

I got a feeling Vertin won't pay too much to consent when holding people's hands or patting their head. Is she an artificial vampire or natural one( demon or birth)?

It's said she's an infected arcanist, so I assume she's "normal" in the womb until her mother was inflicted by vampirism Also Vertin consents nothing, like never knocking doors (Click, Getian, and Lucy can testify)

@@aloysiuskenny8811 currently, i have no idea. Maybe the next roguelike mode will give us more answers, but my theory is that Semmelweis was turned into a vampire to stop her from dying from her condition, as info from echoes in the mountain tells us that she only has several months left to live. Who turns her? Why did she get turned? Who knows.

She's suppose to be hungarian, but I'm not sure if she has a hungarian accent

She is supposed to be Hungarian (but since she is probably inspired by Ignác Semmelweis, a physician who was of German descent and could speak and publish in both Hungarian and German), but I genuinely don't hear the accent, rather a German/Austrian one (the „s” and „sch” sounds mostly), for example in „think”, she says the „th” part with a „s” (as the s in snake), opposed to a „t” (as the t in tin), which one could most commonly hear in a stronger Hungarian accent.
