I grow sempervivums as well. They excellent carefree plants. Mine are 20 years old. I repot mine every 5 years. I just grow mine in shallow wide bowls and in regular potting soil.

Daniel, Impressive collection of sempervivums. You have done a great job of organization and labeling. They all look healthy and happy. Saw a few that i would like to try myself. Do you obtain most from S.M.G. in Oregon or other sources? The cultivar "Zulu" is one that seems to be unavailable anywhere now but once S.M.G. did have it on their website. The overall very dark color, almost blackness of "Zulu" is intriguing to me. Great video and thanks for sharing with us. Randy/GA (verderandy)

Hello Randy, I got most of my collection from fellow members on garden.org. Its a great place to meet new friends and the classifieds section is a great skource for plants at a very good price. SMG is good but I try to support fellow gardeners when possible. Its good to hear from you and I'm glad you liked the video.
