Huge Kessie, Great Tomori! Vs Udine we need to start Diaz, I believe Calhanoglu need a little break, Diaz did great things yesterday and moved the ball a lot. Not bad game from Tonali as well, but we need Benaser and he needs more playing time!

Pace in defense is important for a highline. Kjær and Romagnoli overall didn't provide that. Tomori is as fast as Theo Hernandez. That recovery on Veretout was something else. Also, his reflexes and quickness of feet to clear those random chances created as a result small cracks in our defense are mad impressive. I think we'd be able to play better by sending more players forward with Tomori covering at the back, as was seen with Theo and Kessié repeatedly entering the opposition third in attacks. We had line 7 shots on target in the first half if I'm not mistaken.

That Tomori goal was was called offside because Kjær was offside in the build up to it. I think it'd have been given otherwise.

What a great performance last night, exactly what we needed after the last few disappointing performances. I think dropping Romagnoli to the bench had a positive effect, especially with Tomori playing great. Im not a Romagnoli hater, but I just don't think he’s played well enough to merit his position in the team, and with that, the captaincy. Hakan has 17 goals and assists for the season SO FAR!?! That’s a very big contribution and he deserves patience in terms of his form. We don’t know enough about his condition. Something tangible might be causing his problems on the pitch. The biggest question after watching the first 20 minutes of the game yesterday in the context of the whole game. Is our playing style sustainable? They might only be able to maintain it for short spells. Also, guys, are we forgetting spezia? Let’s not take Verona or Udinese lightly . Verona ended up a draw last time and they almost just beat Juve this weekend. A loss is 3 points dropped. We have to go after every game with humility. You can’t count your chickens just because we beat Roma. I’d take a 1 nil against both. It’s all about points now.

I [Oli] predicted very tough games against Udinese and Hellas Verona so absolutely we are not taking those games lightly at all, we have seen what well-drilled opponents can do to us. As for Hakan, I think it's a combination of effects of Covid, possible muscle niggle and lack of rhythm. He hasn't lost his ability overnight, it just needs to click again, as we saw with Rebic!

I think covid has a significant effect. Rebic also took a long time before getting into form. Tonali also struggled initially and is now more comfortable. Remember that covid affects respiratory system. For sure it has an effect on athletes.

I'm with Torgrude I'd be shit faced celebrating too. If he wants to zoom party with it I'm all for it too. You guys make a great point on ManU's matches in-between us. I've been talking to a Man U fan (one who I got the Dalot stuff on I shared with you guys) more do to our clubs matching up this round and he's really worried and most of Man United fans are too. We are apparently the one club they didn't want to face in Europa League knockouts do to how good we've been over the last year. Man has been dropping points like cray to other clubs. However they've been unlucky with some bad referee calls. I think do to bad refereeing in their games it's a 7-15 points dropped which would put them 5 pts behind Man City who they play this weekend. However they've also dropped points to lesser clubs. I follow Newcastle in the EPL and both matches this year were no where near deserved wins. 1st match they were lucky to win and should've drawn do to the Magpie Keeper getting a groin injury and Bruce keeping him in despite having Subs left and should've put in the other keeper. Last match a week ago Man U played down to Newcastle for who most of the game had just as many chances and with better offense would've won. Man U is a crazy mixed bag of a team but I think thats what makes them dangerous for us. As for a new Striker what about Maxi Gomez from Valencia? He'd cost a bit over 30M Euros but I think if they want at least one Vice Ibra he's perfect. He's 24 but a contract till 2024 at Valencia.

Inter play Atalanta next Monday. If they drop points midweek, we could be going into next week on top again if we take all 6 points.

Pioli substitutions were right imo, saelesmaekers had a yellow and looked tired tracking back and forth. At least let fresh chicken legs castillejo use some speed to give roma less space attacking. Krunic was important because he is top 3 on the team in terms of space covered which is crucial that way theo can sit back even deeper and keep the formation solid. And meite for tonali made sense because his strength against a tired roma midfield is the cherry on top to frustrate them even further.

Milan should get Felipe Anderson instead of Otavio. I don’t understand why we are not pursuing him. Perfect #10 and he can play both wings. Out: Krunic, Meite, Brahim Diaz, Dalot, Castellijo Romagnoli and Mandzukic. In: Tomori, Lovato, Zaccagni, Felipe Anderson, Belotti, Pobega, Renato Sanchez and Ikone.

Weekly Ratings Of Sempre Milan Podcast Hosts, Took me 2 hours for this one... Oliver fisher-4/10: I feel like since the site doesn't publish player ratings anymore, we need the podcast to talk about every players performance. Calabria and salas were not mentioned at all in the roma review. The udinese preview wasn't good and rushed. They thought that lasagna was still an udinese player 💀. It was a poor review in the tactical aspect. Maybe bringing in an udinese fan would have helped and last but not least said that benzema had a great game against atalanta💀. He wasn't even in bergamo. Plus what was that break at the closing stages of the pod? Bald Ginger-6/10: Made a point about killing the game earlier and backed leao with actual stats. But barely said anything which wasn't a repetition in the first hour of the pod. Don Gianmario-10/10: Made a point that man utd's top four battle will be harder than ours. Made a great point on how bennacer's spot is in danger due to tonali. Made a great point about how age is catching up to ibra, he has been bad for the past 2 weeks. Made a great point how hakan's head is somewhere else and how Maldini style of renewals is scary. Made a great point on how leao and ibra play well together. Made a great point on why not to sack pioli. Madison: Got transferred to toffee tv. I think Oliver was tired and should have probably gone to bed and filmed it on another day. Hauge is simply just a futstyle player. Thank for another podcast and sempre milan❤🖤

@@SempreMilan Gian thought lasagna was still a udinese player and no one corrected him and when it came to listing verona players you opted for kalinic instead of him. I'll give you the isco one even though that pronunciation was soft. Plus what I meant by ratings is your ratings not another newspaper's own. And the cutting for questions thing is the reason why I said the next day would have been better. Was checking twitter for that post didn't see it maybe it would have been smarter to post it after the game. Thus, saying this your rating would probably increase by 0.5. Better

Hauge had minutes and proved nothing, I would love see him more in Europa league but his is not on the list unfortunately. I had a lot of expectations on Hauge but he has been very disappointing recently.
