First - all the best to Maddy and his kid, I hope Jr get's better soon! Second - I really liked the way you handled the racist incident. I only want to say that I wouldn't lean too far from the window in saying that such things don't happen in our stadium. I genuinely think that they do, they only don't get noticed. Third - 35:40 - For once I have to agree 100% with you guys. Some wins shouldn't be overanalyzed but the mentality to win this game was really there and it was so reminiscent of the 21/22 season. Let's hope the team builds upon this victory and play a strong return round.

Very good point on the Jovic. I am not the biggest fan but like you said, the striker IQ and his positioning has lead to a few of the goals he has put in for us.

It’s crazy the Udinese team and coaching staff didn’t go over to the fans and talk to them about it, I know pereya did but their whole team should’ve handled that along with the refs. Didn’t look like anyone did anything

So true. So frustrating. Zero responsibility and accountability by the udinese players and coaching staff in those moments. Disappointing. Captain/cosch could and should have went over and told them to shut it when it started during warm ups

Solid podcast. Best to Maddy Jr. I heard Udinese have started giving out lifetime ban to the fans, so they're actually doing something besides talking! At least it's a start! Hope to see Jovic and Oka starting this weekend. They deserve it. I have a feeling the Curva is going to something special for Mike at the next home game. As a former NCAA goaltender I love the hockey reference from Ollie. :)

Just finished the episode. Wonderful stuff, a short one that of course goes on to be one the of the longest episode. I'd have nothing to add with regards to the incident on Mike, 100% agree with you. I also felt like I can give a similar point to Oli's on the national team. My first memory watching a match on television in its entirety is the 3-0 France victory against Brazil. I love Milan. It's a club I feel a part of, I am not Italian (I'm French) and I never lived in Milan but I feel at home at the San Siro. That being said, I will always be national team first. I have a bias towards our French players. Maignan's attack was felt even more deeply because he is our man for club and country and I went in a firery rage when this occurred. It's normal for our players to represent their country because this is why they do this for a living. The schedule for the Asia cup and Afcon are unfortunate and the leagues need to adapt to it. Rather than a series of international breaks, there should be two breaks (one in the entirety of Jan and early Feb, the other in June/July) during which there are either qualification matches or international competitions.

I hear Aj’s points. But I checked out those metrics as well bc they seem legit. And pulisic is 4th in the league in xOVA as well as having 11 goal contributions in the league in his first year in serie A That metric is called overall Value added and is worth a look up. Hes also 3rd in 1,2s created. So if Leao were to actually trust his teammate or maybe selflessly give up the ball initially he’ll See pulisc tirelessly and smartly gives rhe ball back. We seem to be playing and winning as individuals and they’re still Unified don’t get me wrong. But not truly unselfish and always making the best scoring decision. RLC is great example If that. Lots of selfish carry and basically tripping infron of leao and pulisic on sprite occasions.

RLC is so frustrating sometimes. There have been so many instances where the right decision would be to pass to Leão or Pulisic. Instead he keeps the ball, dribbles into traffic or takes a much more difficult shot and is wasteful. In the game against Salernitana, I think I counted at least 4 or 5 times where RLC completely ignored Pulisic for a pass.

A discussion point - what is the idea of putting Xabi Alonso in the bucket for the coach of AC Milan next season. I keep track of most top 5 leagues because I support a team in each league and his side is impressive when they play.

A little bit shaky? Look what Calabria does before Udinese's 2nd goal, and since we are at this subject, look what he does before Gabbia has that tackle as last defender!

For a supposed religious country the racism is shocking. Surely God created everyone in different races in his infinite wisdom.

I like the podcast so much but your kjaer slander is still so unbearable :D the man does one mistake, instantly gets smashed, even though he also saved an almost secure goal before that. Theo completely messes up the second goal, no slander. I enjoy listening so much but the kjaer parts I always want to skip, its just so biased it hurts :D

There is no bias or agenda, but when something like that leads to a goal we have to mention it. Otherwise we’d be accused of bias the other way!

I mean I am not his personal advocat or anything but it does appear a tad biased if you never mention the good parts a player offers (like his multiple clean sheets, the number of wins Milan has since he is back, his assist etc) and instantly lable a player a flop if he does one mistake. Just my opinion@@SempreMilan

Hei, fellas. Inters match is in 3 M O N T H S There's absolutely no need to worry about it in January 22. 2nd thing. Udinese deserved that stoppage loss 1000%. It was just the perfect ending for those scumbags and it happened on the racist side too! Not all the teams have the best techology to track down these people esp the smaller sides in Italy. This league loves to hide their heads under the sand and skip finding the root cause and curing it. Making stupid monkey picture champaigns to tackle racism is really not helping either. What the hell was that anyway. To win the derby you need the mentality. This should be a war! And for us it is! You can have Ronaldinhos and prime Ibra's, but If you don't believe in the win you get slapped. Inter players need only 1 motivation video to rile them up. Your scudetto bus celebration videos and those Inter& Hakan songs you sang. 😂 We have made this fixture so one sided that its now one of the main objectives for milanisti and its on top the list not in the end. Scudetto . I'd say Milan is still in it, despite the -6 which becomes -3 if you win vs Bologna. Don't underestimate the power of pressure of postponed games . We lost a title with it in Bologna .

Mike should not have reacted to the fans. Opposing fans will always hurl insults at you, weather racist or not! The moment you react you give those fans the power, and they know they can get in your head..If you ignore them they will stop. If I remember correctly it's was Dani Alves who had a banana thrown at him and he picked it up and ate it.. perfect reaction! You're getting paid millions or euros to play a sport you love.. man up, stop being so sensitive and get on with it.
