Brilliant to see Horncastle brought on. I generally feel that pundits talk a lot of shite but Horncastle and Richardson on Goalazzo Live have been the exceptions to that rule. I always look forward to their insights and yeah, James had that effect during this session. I feel a lot less tense about Milan than I have over the past few weeks.

No he still talked his shite just in a more palatable way by trying to make Milan fans who dislike the current situation and ownership get easily dismissed, he tried to laugh off things rather than make good points.

James changed my view on the redbird and Maldini situation. Maldini was very important but did get too much of the credit as well. Some names that we were rumored with that Maldini liked made me disappointed like Marko Arnautovic. I like all of the players we are rumored with right now. I also have not given up on Charles De Ketelaere, I do not want him sold. One season is not a big enough sample size. Tonali and Leao proved that. Completely different players now than when they first arrived at the club.

Agreed @CriusXI things are better than the catastrophe a lot of fans pretend we're going through.

Cardinale and Redbird could have handled it all so much better so it wasn't such a culture shock. Culture matters too much at Milan. For weeks, it's felt like the ship is sinking, and all our important players are looking to get off - Tonali, Theo linked with Atletico, stories of Maignan not renewing. I'm fine with Redbird going in new directions, but they have to communicate to fans in a way that shows they understand what Milan should be, because the optics are currently "Idiot buys beloved club, doesn't respect its history, guts it, tanks the team's morale, panics, and can't close any deals."

What if thuram was always on the way to inter and Milan were the ones swooping in on the deal, and not the other way around?

I am probably the only American who doesnt want to see the perpetually injured and highly overated Pulisic at Milan. If we have to have an american, I'd rather have Balogun or Yunus Musah.

Totally agree with James here. I agree 100%. This is often overlooked by the fans. Yes, Maldini had an impact but his impact is grossly overstated. Forza Milan ❤

I like james but i feel the way his trying to paint the picture about tonali and equate it with barella is abit meh. The dif between the tonali and barela situation..inter rejected the offer and also they pay barella 5 to 6 mil a year. Milan didnt reject but asked for more and we pay tonali 2.5 mil. If you get offers, accept it and then approach the player and say you have accepted..obviously the player is going to feel unwanted and probably accept the offer aswell. Tonali is playing at u21..do yall really think he had a vision to leave the club? Imagine him seeing origi being paid 4 mil and we offering thuram 4 5 mil..he probably thinking im the only top mid whose fit atm in milan and im getting paid 2.5. If milan genuinely wanted to keep tonali they would have offered him 4 mil which he deserves and he would stay for another 5 years but we didnt do so. Why? Cause we intended to sell him. So this idea that tonali could have said no is bullshitery cause milan didnt give him the right conditions to say no. Barella has those conditions to say no

Nice to have James on, but I'm sorry I didn't learn anything new or different from him. Too much waffling (dont mean to sound harsh) and basically saying things we already know as fans.

He tried to still more eloquently put down milan fans and make them feel like children. Not a fan after this. Was one before.
