Thank you for the video. Almost impossible to install with the notice, and it takes only 5-6mn with the video. And now, I know how to dismount and reassemble my helmet!! :-))

Would this also fit in the Shoei RF-1200 helmet or are the snaps in a different position? Thanks!

Owner of a U10 intercom for SHOEI GT air helmet for 3 years, I had the nasty surprise to learn that the replacement of the battery located in a glued case was not possible. Indeed, SENA does NOT provide any after-sales service beyond the 2-year warranty period. It is a scandal to pay $ 250 for a device being obsolete after 3 years of use.

Such an awesome fitting product. Definitely getting one. I think you forgot to reattach the snap locks for the cheek pads though

By the look at the video it looks like should fit my SHOEI NXR ! Am i wrong saying that? Any plan date for 20U ? Thanks

+Sena Isn't the helmet going to be more noisy when the ear foam covers are removed to make room for the speakers? Like isn't there some foam on the speakers? Would be a shame to make that plastic touch my ears if you know what i mean.. Currently that's what holding me back from buying this. Also I i were to buy a gopro camera, can i use this Sena 10U as the microphone for videologging? Looking forward to a response to my questions :)
@arvedludwig35845 жыл бұрын
You can snap the speakers out of the standard holder and put them into a foam covered holder. It's all in the set included. Idk if there is a possibility to use the mic for vlogging. Sorry for my lack of English. Greetings from Germany.

When will Sena make a 20U so that we can have Auto Volume to compensate for wind noise and the ability to communicate with more riders as well as the other advanced features of the 20S??
@TechnicR8 жыл бұрын
I also plan to buy one for my GT Air. I really like the integreated system, but also the new featrues of the 20S. Any news about making a 20U ?
@JohnCattrall4 жыл бұрын
Can anyone tell me if you're supposed to put anything over the speakers? The covers that were in place initially don't seem to fit. But with no covers there is loads of wind noise - an unbearable level.

How come that the control buttons go inside the helmet? How can you operate them with a closed visor?
@senatechnologies7 жыл бұрын
The buttons were designed to be inside of the helmet for a fully integrated headset design. In addition, the 10U comes with the Sena Handlebar Remote for controlling the headset from the handlebars on the motorcycle while the visor is down.

Does the 10U work with the Rf-1200? I have been contemplating getting the 20S but the headphones don't fit properly.

Does the Sena 10C also fit the Shoe GT Air??
@senatechnologies7 жыл бұрын
Yes. The 10C can be attached to the Shoei GT Air.

I really would like to see a video like this one but for Arai helmets! You have for Shoei and Schubert; and how about Arai?
@buswell97 жыл бұрын
I've heard rumours that the 10U doesn't fit the gt-air sizes xs and small due to the mouth piece not clipping over the padding as it has been made larger for those size helmets. Is this true??
@senatechnologies7 жыл бұрын
We will look into this further with our R&D team.
@buswell97 жыл бұрын
Sena any feedback from the r&d team?
@senatechnologies7 жыл бұрын
The 10U for the GT-Air was designed for helmets that are Medium and larger. The 10U may fit on helmets that are XS and Small due to the larger EPS liner but the controls and the microphone may not fit properly.
@buswell97 жыл бұрын
Sena that's pretty poor from sena then. Why make a headset that doesn't cater for all sizes. Shocking!
@timothy95967 жыл бұрын
I bought this helmet today and part of the reason was the integrated Sena. Unfortunately for me, I'm a size SM so I guess I'm just F'ed. Thanks

Rage! Lol I can't get the battery to go in and be as flush on my gt-air. I must not have enough thumb strength or there's some kinda glue blocking it from sliding in. Should I brute force it in? Use a mallet!? Thanks otherwise great product love this thing!
@nelots8 жыл бұрын
+Sena I had to use a hammer to tap it in. Wouldn't go in for the life of me.
@TaxGuru8 жыл бұрын
Your video is very helpful. However, I'm having the same problem with my GT-Air, which was manufactured 08/15. The battery pack tabs won't go down, no matter how hard I push. I'm afraid to use a hammer and break the plastic. Any ideas on how to get it all the way in, or should I just leave it part way in and hope the tabs on the sides hold it in enough?
@nelots8 жыл бұрын
+TaxGuru I have a feeling over time the glue shifted or melted in that area, just press it in as best you can, then put something between the battery and the hammer and lightly quick taps will get it in.
@isaac21527 жыл бұрын
Nel I used a fillet knife and jimmyed it around where the tabs would go. slid in nice
@olegrashchupkin96867 жыл бұрын
Bullshit. Seamless install.
@coopermanwest7 жыл бұрын
Sena will probably delete my comment, but here goes. Installation of this unit is no way nearly as easy as the video pretends it is. I needed a long (6") flexible knife to make room for the tabs on the battery, and for the antenna. Once you get all of these wires in the helmet, no pads fit back in easily. Also, it was impossible for me to install the speaker covers. I tried, and I'm not a weak guy. They won't fit. There will be frustration. There will be bad language, but persevere, and you'll get it installed. Haven't tested it's function yet, but am hopeful it will work.
@bluemarque6 жыл бұрын
I had trouble with those speaker covers at first too, but then i realized you are supposed to remove the plastic with the "snap holder" (that's what its called in quick-start guide illustration) from the speaker, and then clip on the part with the cover in it's place. If you too it that way they will fit on easily.
@delphys755 жыл бұрын
You may have something wrong with your helmet. I just install the S10 in my Shoei GTAir, and it takes only 5mn, like in the video... So??... It's strange for your helmet.
@erichendy3 жыл бұрын
This is a great video but I also had some real-world frustration. The cheekpad snaps have almost no extra tolerance for space, so once a .5-1mm piece of plastic is introduced, it’s going to be hard to fit. 5out of 6 cheekpad snaps re-snapped, with the one outlier being the one with the most new and closest proximity plastic interference. I didn’t have issues elsewhere but feel for those on the thread that had helmet size restrictions, that should not be an issue if the mechanical engineering design is done right. This is probably why the video does not show re-snapping the cheekpad snaps.

chin curtain is a type of beard. How do you remove a beard type from a helmet?
