The Aussies have as big a mental health problem as we do but they have reasonable gun control laws. Their federal government sets strict background checks with no exceptions. They have guns for hunting and protection. They don't have assault weapons or the NRA and gun maker lobbyists lining the pockets of politicians. If the Aussies can do it, so can we.

There was an armed guard on the door of the school that’s not enough.
@ManifestNobility2 жыл бұрын
@@liliad.7448 If there was in fact an armed guard then clearly we need better protection because gun control laws can only go so far Criminals don't care about gun control laws, we need personnel at these schools that can handle threats like these it's that simple. why should our children continue to be sitting ducks?
@liliad.74482 жыл бұрын
@@ManifestNobility I am not against more armed guards but there's is also a need for gun controls look at other countries as examples with mass shootings and what has happened due a change in gun controls such as New Zealand. Also more monitoring on social media is another action in conjunction with gun controls that could be enacted if lawmakers where to actually care more about the people they represent more than their NRA Sponsors
@specialprojectsdevgroup2 жыл бұрын
@@liliad.7448 We operate in countries with strict gun control and within states with similar restrictions. Our operatives experience significantly worse violent crimes, and arguably no less if not more gun crime than at home. Buybacks, statistically speaking, are ineffective as it is. Police with better training, armed guards, and more realistic drills will/have prevented mass shootings from occuring; when they didn't, they certainly put the shooting to a stop most of the time. The issue is mental health.
@ManifestNobility2 жыл бұрын
@@liliad.7448 I get the gun control argument but as we can see that could take years in this country not all countries work the same way , so in the mean time why not do what we do best America has the biggest greatest military force in the world yet we cant keep our own children safe in schools.Why not secure our most precious citizens meanwhile we can work on multiple solutions like better gun control and mental health. We need a way to stop these people and send a clear message.

Thats a great answer to question nobody asked. What's your point? We shouldn't change gun laws because there's other way to kill people? Sounds smart
