It's great to see someone who remembers where they came from and is not afraid to call it for what it is. The unfortunate reality is JL's comments are like water off a ducks back. The elite who she is pitching to will make comment on how they share her feelings and frustrations but their hands are tied. Until politicians rise above politics nothing will change...and we all know that isn't going to happen 😢. There is no such thing as responsible and representative government, just elites, lobbyists and the few who look after themselves at the expense of the majority.

This is a great question, I feel like we don't talk about class enough. Can't believe that those Sydney private schools got to go on those camps while other families struggled with home schooling. It really shows the gap between lower and upper classes.

So True! I had the privilege of working with a woman, in the health sector whose Dr Daddy found her a managers job. She ran the place with bullying, gossiping and bigotry towards those who lived in working class suburbs.both employees and clients. When she completely screwed up the workplace she wasnt sacked. She was transferred to an administrators role. I agree Jackie. It would be nice if something is done. Whose going to do anything when the whole system is stuctured to suit these elitsts?

Aboriginal people make up 3.1% of the total Australian population. Aboriginal people M.P.'s make up 4.8% of the total Members of Politicians, so they are OVER REPRESENTED based on population numbers. The Federal Government spends $34 BILLION Per Year specifically on Aboriginal needs, this is DOUBLE what is spent on NON aboriginal peoples needs on a percentage of population. Maybe check out the FACTS before hopping on the usual "victim" rant that is just plain UNTRUE.
