To join any club, you need to follow club rules and every club membership has rules, maybe except the Australian Parliament. There should be one major rule. Citizenship, and with it, the oath of allegiance to Australia. One cannot have full allegiance to Australia, if you accept dual citizenship. Would you accept your spouse to retain and maintain past matrimonial relationships and interests? Of course not. I belong to a minority group, was a migrant and now an Australian citizen, and I agree with Ms. Hanson most times. This time, it is not about where you are from or who you are, but allegiance and committment, to Australia and Australian interests. Put your citizenship to where your mouth is, like I do.
