I retired in 2018. I set myself up so i wouldn't have to worry about money for the reminder of my life. Im now having to go back to work because the drastic increases in inflation. My entire plan is useless. We have added 8 to 10 years' worth of inflation in both 2022 and 2023. So what was 40 years of income, and it has become 25 years of income in less than 2 years. I don't know how people who only have social security are making it. Sure, in 2022, SS got the biggest increases in history. But 8% doesn't cover a 19% increase in inflation. Then, in 2023, it was back to a 2.1% increase.

Biden reminds me of my X wife. We got married and within a year my bank account was dry. Then she took out a dozen credit cards and maxed them out and then when all the money was gone she divorced me and took most of everything I had created.
