Theres 3 reasons politicians sleep in "fraternity houses" and their offices: 1) They only live and work there during the work week and go home to their houses and families outside of Washington D.C. on the weekends 2) They want to save money, to practice what they preach in terms of finance and/or for the PR. (Politicians must earn an average of about $1000 a week for their re-election campaign if they widh to have any realistic hope of being re-elected) 3) They work long hours and can't really enjoy the place they live at during the week, therefore they don't care so much about living accomadations. Guys really live in apartments like this and don't see any issue it's probably super cheap so they spend nothing on it, has beds and can cook if they really need to, but they probably just go there to sleep now. Used to be a frat house now just a sleep house for 8 hours a day

Confusing at first, but this is a promo for the amazon show Alpha House. They "live" there in the same way you "live" on a family members couch during the holidays, you're only in need of a place to sleep for a few days and then you go home, vs. What I imagine are actually pretty expensive and booked hotels I could see people sleeping there.

Th frat houses I’ve been to aren’t ever too messy unless just had a party or will have one. They cleaned spotless within 2 days unless cleaners come earlier. During pandemic much much cleaner(friends live and took pictures)

For everyone saying this is fake, I can confirm they actually live there (or atleast someone high up does) This obscure townhome has an unusual amount of law enforcement activity in the form of SUV convoys and capitol police stationed out front during the week. I’ve never personally seen the senators come and go, but I’ve witnessed and unusual amount of police activity (like convoys), throughout the years.

I think this is a hoax. They probably live in the house, but it isn't under those conditions. Notice that they only show the one room, which they must have set up for the 'joke'. If this was real, the Board of Health would have something to say about it. The sad thing is that there are many people who do live under similar conditions, and it is nothing to laugh at.
