This video will show you how to send SMS with your own phone number in Excel using the free Pushbullet API. The messages are sent from your own phone number. Any replies will go right to your phone as expected. Additionally, you can send as many text messages as you want without needing to worry about paying per message as you would for services like Twilio.
Since the messages are coming from your phone, they are covered by your phone plan with your carrier. If you have unlimited SMS, you are set. If you don't, be aware that sending text messages using the Pushbullet API costs the same as sending SMS yourself by hand.

You can send one message per row. To send the same message to multiple numbers, copy the same message in every row (you can also use Excel formulas to refer to the first cell, for example). I hope it helps! Happy Sending!

Thank you! Regarding your question: Sending the same message to multiple recipients is possible with the paid template available here: pythonandvba.com/sms-excel-template/. The paid template does support the use of placeholders. However, in the current version, it is not possible to use only one placeholder (e.g., for the first name) that will then be replaced depending on the recipient's number. That said, I am planning to incorporate that feature at some point in time.

The messages are still sent from your smartphone. The recipient will have the same options as they do when you send an SMS directly from your smartphone when using the SMS Blaster.

Regarding waiting 30 seconds, is this because your phone signal wasn’t strong enough to send them every 2 seconds? I’ve tried using this system with the 2 seconds setting today and lots of the messages were stuck ‘failed to send.’ I had to go through and click ‘resend’ one-by-one in the phones message screen.

Thanks for watching! As I said in the video, messages come from your own phone, so they count towards your phone plan with your carrier. If you've got unlimited texts, you're all set. If not, keep in mind that sending texts through the PushBullet API is the same as texting by hand, cost-wise. Plus, you'll need Pushbullet Pro to send more than 100 messages a month. It's a good idea to check with your carrier about any message limits you might have.

I am sending sms from an excel sheet I’m running macros on to send individualized messages with their unique name and business name and a sentence or two from a list of potential customers I have met with’s business cards I’ve collected and exported from Covve scan. Works great. But kindly, have you been able to work around the android's 30 sms per 30 minutes per application limitation? If you do this, the app will be extremely useful in sending bulky sms. I have seen other competitor apps trying to solve the problem by providing expansion packs or plug-ins. Each plug-in behaves like a separate app and fools the system into thinking that the messages are being sent by separate apps. Each plug-in installed increases the number of messages you can send per hour. A good example is SA GROUP TEXT app although I prefer to use pushbullet because of its ability to send messages from the PC. Your action to deal with the androids limitation will be highly appreciated.

I might be a little too stupid for this. LOL! 1. If I have 300 recipients, am I typing one message in the spreadsheet and copying it down so that each person shows the identical message or does one message get sent to each recipient on the spreadsheet with no need to copy the message down the page? 2.
