You avoid the spambox to change/add settings in your DNS. So that has nothing to do with the server itself.

This setup is for loopback interface only which only allows localhost to send emails

Yeah I did. But they are not public, so you are on your own with that. Good luck. However, these days I just use a cloud SMTP service. It adds an extra $1 to my domain name bill per month for every mailbox that I can send and receive from. I only use one. namecheap.pxf.io/Px9ZR If you get a domain name from namecheap, then you can also use the privateemail addon.

try it. If your email provider rejects the incoming email, then follow your email providers complaints process.

Hi, when I try to attach a file to the mail it just creates another file attached with the body message and the command I use is this one: $ echo "This is the body" | mail -s "This is the subject" -a "FROM:[senders address]" [your personal email] -A /path/to/file.txt but I get two attached files, one with the file Im expecting and the other one with "This is the body" any help on this?

You can do that. Install postfix locally on same server. Find your smtp settings in your wp. I dont know wp very well anymore though, i remember it sometimes use to come with smtp already configured. Maybe not.
