Senders EP03 | Californian whitewater kayaking!

I turned and burned from Norway to California the second that Dane told me the Royal Gorge was coming in. This was one of the rivers I dreamed of kayaking down when I was stuck in school, in Warrington. It's got a tight window for flows so you have to be ready to go when it drops in. Linking up all five of the big waterfalls is known as a Royal Flush and is one of the pinnacles of the sport.
Dane got his Royal Flush in a few days before I arrived and dropped in again just to do safety and film for me, as well as show me the lines on the endless rapids down this 45 mile section.
A bit of downtime after the biggest, sickest day of kayaking of my life and then back to it on the Kern Cataracts! Currently waiting out high water levels before I can film the next episode.

Awesome vid. The intro was next level and it's great to see more footage of Dane. His channel is all POV, like he's too nice to ask someone to hold a camera. I was surprised to see you use copyrighted music, KZbin ends up taking most of the proceeds from you for that. Anyway, I digress, loved it. Ye guys n gals (Nouria etc included) are inspirational. I started whitewater kayaking in 92/93 stopped in about 2004. I was kayak surfing on the west n sth coast of ireland all through the 90s early 2000s when the breaks were pretty much empty. But ye folk have really brought it onto another level. Ive acquired boat etc in the last few years inspired by ye and driven by myself✌️. After the end of an illness nearly 5 years ago I m back on MRS (mountain, river, sea😁). My point being your videos are far more than just entertainment for some of us Bren❤️✌️!.! Would love to see ye hit some big surf n show us all how it's done. Great videos n for me kayaking is no. 1 for camararderie.
