When sending an email, there are three ways you can send it to more than one recipient: using To, Cc and Bcc recipients.

Is there a way to send out a mass email via BCC but when the recipient responds to the message it is received in separate individual threads on GMAIL.

Not as one email - Gmail threads its emails together based on sender and subject, so you'd have change the subject and / or sender for each one, so you'd have to send an individual email for each recipient in a loop.

Is there a way to do this so the person receiving the email can still see their own email address so they think it was personalised for them ? Because when i use BCC it doesn’t come up on the receivers end with their email it just says from me to nobody

I don't think so - it depends on the email client how it's displayed when BCC is used

cc is not private in that other recipients of the email can see who this is being sent to. If you want to send an email to someone and include that person without the first person knowing, then you need to use bcc

No, if the BCC recipient replies to the email, they'll just reply to the sender. They can't see the other BCC recipients at all.

I'm not sure what you mean - are you referring to your email client? For example in Gmail, when you create a new message, Cc and Bcc appear at the top right of the message window.

When I say copy, I just mean they will get the email. If you send the email to more than one person, they all see the same message, or put another way, they all get a copy of the same message.

@@m.alaiady3627 The body and subject are exactly the same - as far as the recipient is concerned, it's the same email. They will see though if they're in the "to" field or the "cc" field. As far as the content goes though, it's the same.

Addresses in the bcc field are recipients you want to get the email, but they can't see any of the other recipients. So you might send the email to yourself (as the "to" field can't be empty) but put all the other recipients in the bcc field.

"to" are the main recipients. People you are addressing directly. "cc" is people you want to receive a copy of the message, but you're not addressing them directly.

I would send them individually, using your email client instead of doing it with code. That way you can include a personalised cover letter - just sending your CV is not a good way to get noticed and get an interview. (several companies will ignore any CVs sent if they don't at least include a personalised message)

bcc: is a list of recipients that will receive the email, but the recipients can't see the others that have received the email. This is in contrast to cc:, where everyone in the cc: list can see everyone else's email address in the cc: list. Does that help?

It's explained in the video - the to: field is for the main recipients of the email, those that you're addressing directly, and the cc: field is for secondary recipients, those that you want to see the email, but that you aren't addressing directly.

Cc: (Carbon Copy) - Put the email address(es) here if you are sending a copy for their information (and you want everyone to explicitly see this) Bcc: (Blind Carbon Copy) - Put the email address here if you are sending them a Copy and you do not want the other recipients to see that you sent it to this contact.
