Mullet is awesome. I mulleted my Levo. Frickin love it! So much easier to turn and throw around the back end. If your BB is low, flip your chip to the high setting to offset the mullet BB drop.

@@MarkMatthewsMTB I think he means the "chip" that some bikes have to alter the geometry, giving you a "high" and "low" geo settings. Fairly sure Marins don't have a flip chip. Love the videos!

I set up my bike as a mullet two years ago. I like the extra room behind the seat for steep rides or high speed when you have to scrub a jump. I wish more bike manufacturers set up their bikes to run a mullet from the factory.

I have a specialized status and Decoy shred, love the mullet, hate the pedal strikes. I feel like the sag in the rear slows things down just enough to keep the party safe.

Hello, Are there any updates concerning the bushings ? Do the bushings keep their position or do they rotate? Which bushings did you use ? 8mm, 6mm offset ? what is the effective difference in the BB ?

Hey brother. So I just picked up a 21 alpine and I’m curious how you made up for the Geo. Can you link me to what ever angle kit or what ever you used for your build? It’s coming with a spare 27.5 wheel but I don’t want to do it unless it’s right.

I just used offsetbushings.com installed upside down but the geo is still a little off. I was testing a few things out to give feedback to Marin and I wouldn't 100% recommend it. It's super fun but the BB still sits a bit too low.

I just built a super enduro in XL Privateer alloy frame with Zebs and was considering a Large Carbon build with Lyrik and a 29/27.5 mullet as another fun option aswell.

Ever since I got my Rallon it's stayed stock, not really needed to change anything. However, I want to do a mullet set up so bad. I'm just gonna get so many pedal strikes it's going to drive me insane/cause a gnarly crash that I don't think it's gonna be worth it. :'(

I wouldn’t recommend it, my bb sits too low. I use an offset bushing installed upside down to help but but it’s still a bit off.

Lol friends and I joked about that years ago. It wouldn't work, at least well, because they are like polar opposites. With heel clickers you are jumping forward over the bike and dropping the back end, with toboggans you are learning back and pushing the front wheel down.
