For 8 years, I have watched political news every day on MSNBC, CNN and I subscribed to the NYT. I studied American politics, I cried when Trump won the election both times. I was happy that Biden won in 2020. In short, as my friends tell me, you know more about American politics and our country than the majority of Americans. And yes, I am not American, I am a French Canadian born to an American mother. The election results deeply disturbed me because I no longer recognized the country that I loved so much. After reflection, I told myself that nothing happens for nothing, that the world is changing, and that I have no control. So now, I'm no longer subscribed to the news networks or the NYT, I consume very little news. I'm glad Ellie is talking about other topics. I am aware that the next years will be filled with challenges for everyone, but for now, I am focusing on my well-being and that of everyone I love.

Thank you for this. I am also a person who has been very aware and knowledgeable about politics the past few years. It is one reason I like Ellie so much. She is very well informed and accurate. After this election, I am tuning out the negativity, have no desire to keep up the news, and am focusing on my own happiness, serenity and well being along with those I love, as well as maintaining a lovely daily spiritual practice. I have enjoyed a respite from Ellie's political readings with much appreciation for the questions she is answering from readers. I especially enjoyed her description of fairies she sometimes sees on her ceiling. She mentioned they look cartoonish. Interestingly, during the past year, I have also been seeing small little beings that have a cartoonish appearance while I am deeply relaxed. I am curiously about their purpose. Thank you for the reading on fairies! I have had a fairy friend named Eleanor for many years. I first learned about her when a psychic person visited my home and informed me that I have a fairy in the house. The psychic told said that one day while I was playing the piano with my windows open Eleanor was flying by. She liked the Paul McCartney music and came inside to listen. Over the years Eleanor has helped me find quite a few lost things. I wrote her a little song on the piano for her and sing to her when I want her help. She is also an equal opportunity fairy in that she also helps my friends find lost things as well. I taught my friends the little song I use to call upon her. One year on my birthday she amazed me by reigniting the candles on my birthday cake twice! This happened an hour after I had blown them out. They were not trick candles. She wanted me to have a total of three wishes! I am a very active reiki practitioner and there is lots of love and healing energy in the house. I wonder if that is contributory toward creating the environment that a fairy likes to visit. I think that maybe the fairies that you see on your ceiling is reflective of all the good energy that you put out. Perhaps you also have a child like joy that the fairies love. What is also interesting, most of my friends whom the fairy has helped find lost things and my friend who was with me when the birthday candles reignited are, in the moment, shocked and amazed by the obvious magic. But by the next day, they have already forgotten about what they witnessed. They will say there is no such thing as magic. Why is that, do you suppose? Fairies can be large too and pretty or ugly or furry😂! They will appear to humans in a form that each human can recognize and relate to. People in the olden days were able to see nature spirit and other magical beings. But when the church started their efforts to take people’s spiritual experiences and make them fit into the church dogma, fairies were advertised as small pretty things of no importance. Maybe to protect them and also the people who saw them and knew them. They do love a good party, they love processions and dress up and glitter and glam.

I had a fabulous interaction with fairies when I was in Ireland. I had taken some feathers and quartz from my property to give as offerings. One day, we were hiking to a "fairy grove" and I offered an owl feather at the beginning of the trail and asked the fairies if they would give me something to take home to my brother. A few minutes later, I found a twig with three, perfect, white acorns. I mentally asked, "Are these for me?" And I got this giggling, "Well, duh" answer. It was a wonderful day.

Hi Ellie 😊 I didn't believe in fairies before but earlier this year I think I actually saw one. I was sitting by my front window one evening not thinking of anything in particular. Stroking my cat. I have a fairy statue in my garden. She is so pretty holding a little lantern. All of a sudden something flew up to the statue and stopped midair almost like a hummingbird. It fluttered back and forth looking at the fairy statue and almost seemed to kiss her before flying away as quickly as it had come. My cat jumped forward towards the window so I knew she had seen it also. It was about 10-12 inches tall, the wings must have been moving so quickly that they almost looked like they weren't moving at all. It's body looked like a little hairy creature (like Cousin It from the Adams family). It brought me joy to see it 😊 I believe in fairies now ❣️

The thing about fairies is the perceptions of what they are, or could be, was changed over time due to fictional portrayals of them in literature and movies vs the actual folklore about them in various cultures. Tinker Bell is a Walt Disney fantasy on all levels, including appearance. They aren't all about rainbows and unicorns, and can have a trickster element. Exploring Irish folklore would bring one closer to what they are, and how they've been experienced in the human realm.

Middle Name Olympia? My mom was Eleanor and Lived in Olympia Washington USA. And she could see some of the faerie, and I also had a vision of elementals once. So funny. Anyway one point of view resonated with me on your cards. Basically our worlds interacts with faery on an energy level. We very much depend on it. And energy is the primary reason that dimension interacts with the visible. Sooo, Humans paint energy everywhere they go. If you are negative painting on the basis of your #1 and #2 cards, those people kick out something that needs to be digested in the faery level, sort of like a parallel to how animal waist turns to soil in the processes of our physical dimension. If you paint out nice energy like you do in your bedroom, I can certainly see some happy energy beings dancing in that light. Trees appear to be quite good at turning both soil and negative energy into substances that are more useful. So that is how I read your cards as an indication of how some processes interact with the ecology of the energy/faery dimension. Otherwise too much of that negative energy tends to drive physical beings toward bad behaviors since we unconsciously take in and react to these energies. This is yet another reason why a concert can be much more fun than watching it alone on TV. It's not just observed behaviors we are reacting to.

I have spent far too much energy as an empath in so many relationships this time around trying to understand. I just really loved the simplicity and directness of your explanation. For myself, I believe they love being in my garden and are joyfilled Elementals/beings of light. Plant devas. In the woo woo corner of thinkers, it's said that the veil is getting thinner, and at some point everyone will see and interact with both spirits as well as faery entities. It won't be hidden anymore. Hard for me to understand that since it's also said that the form you see is created in the divine part of your mind to fit the energy of a faery being you are observing. i.e more subjective than objective but still an observation of what actually is. For example; my wife and I both observed an entity as it went by. I saw only a white t-shirt possibly with an invisible kid in it, she saw a small white goat. Neither of us mentally reacted and would have totally forgot it, except she stopped and said, "why is a goat in our kitchen?" (we lived in a metro suburb, no goats anywhere around there!) Later, a medium told us we observed a small dragon passing through from the faery realm.

I believe you should always send light. But perhaps it's light toward a greater good for all, to the earth, to all sentient beings. The meta prayer is about expanding your compassion, love and light to all. Maybe not directly to DJT, but perhaps to the overall situation that it may become better for the greater good.

I had a thought, pick one of your favorite things or colors for your card mat. I got your book in the mail today. Very exciting! That first reading was exactly what a lot of tarot readers and psychics I watch say to do, especially in relation to manifesting. We should say I am a doctor instead of I'll never be a doctor. To think positive and say positive things to yourself. I wish I had learned all this when I was a kid instead of being Catholic. Spirituality makes more sense to me. There was a lot of wands in that reading. I try not to think about Rump, much less send him energy of any kind. Have you ever drawn your fairies? I would be freaked out if I saw that in my bedroom at night. lol. The only knowledge I have about fairies is what I've read in books. Like the Dresden Files books there are fairies that come and clean the home of the main character, who is a wizard. That ties in with the fairies being busy. Thanks Ellie.

Hello ellie. So I'm wondering if there is a possibility that maybe faeries are not unlike us in that there are good faeries and not so good faeries. We fall into the trap that if they are cute and pretty they must be good. Who knows maybe they caused the disturbing dreams. I want to believe that they are sweet and good but maybe not.

In Celtic lore there are two Fairy courts, the Seely and Unseely. The Seely court are the Fae folk who seek friendly relationship with us human creatures. The Unseely court, not so much.

I had a funny interaction with delusional right wingers yesterday about an old Jim Nabors singing clip. Beautiful voice! But many were extolling the good old dayz. Ask your angels to see one or some, spend some time near nature, even just in your yard and rest into a mediative relaxed mind state, like a happy near-nap. That's when I saw mine. But I saw it/them in my mind vision as my eyes slowly blinked closed. I was very startled, but in a good way.
