I always hated starting one of my children in school. It’s like taking your most precious procession , the thing you have spent every minute for five years nourishing and Turing them over to a stranger. Mine did well, but I cried all day. My 10 year old grandson is a picky eater. His mother sends Lunchables with him. Pudding, chips and canned corn. Strange child, but he hasn’t starved yet. I know your little one will do great. He has the confidence of the devil. He KNOWS everyone loves him and that’s the most important thing. BTW if he skips a lunch every now and ten, it won’t hurt him. It was so sweet that he showed his school stuff to his sister!

I got so emotional watching this, because you never had the opportunity in the same way to do this with Makayla. I think Damian did fine at his first day at school.I am proud of him on your behalf that he was so brave and went on the schoolbus think he was proud of himself to He showed independence and that's a huge milestone . ☺❤

When I went to school the first day, my mom made my dad follow the school bus all the way to school in his cop car..poor driver probably was nervous as heck thinking my dad was just a cop that was going to pull him over...

My son just turned 21. I miss him being little like Damien! What a sweet child you have. My son was very picky. He would eat chicken nuggets with melted cheese on top. Meat and a dairy.

Both my kids are grown now but those milestones in life are precious and it's awesome you are capturing the moments on video! Hi Tiff, I have one of those picky eaters. I pack him lots of snacks. Cheese, crackers, pepperoni sticks, dried fruit (mine will eat apricots dried), yogurt, apple sauce, small bags of chips, veggie sticks( the chip kind) goldfish crackers. If I send him a “lunch” it’s rarely eaten but the snacks (or pickies as we call them) get eaten.

I have a picky eater who packs daily too.. sometimes I will pack butter bread instead of a sandwich or just Chee's on the bread (mine refuses to eat meat) Also, I'll pack crackers and cheese, or cold pizza from nite before.. then some snacks on the side (cookies, fruit snacks, grapes, apple slices, lunch cakes..) Hope he loves school, has Soo much fun, n makes lots of friends 😊

My daughter started school this year aswell. Of course I cried lol She's my oldest,and my boys are 2 and 1 year old, and I'm 8 months pregnant with baby #4. Her lunches would be cheese sandwich, or waffles or pancakes(cut up and put in a thermos) Mac n cheese, yogurt , fruit, carrot sticks, cheese sticks or cheese and crackers or pretzels. Once she started seeing what other kids ate, she started eating other things like Ham and cheese and turkey sandwich’s

My sons lunches contain a juice or yogurt drink. Ham and cheese sandwich or little smokies in bbq sauce. A yogurt or pudding. Chips. Cheese stick. Snacks are popcorn and cut up granola bars. He’s a 1st grader and he has eaten one of these things everyday of school since kindergarten!!

Too many peanut allergies. Sometimes you can use sunflower seed butter or some other similar thing, but it's not exactly the same taste so some kids like it and some don't.
