It is the same Laikipia that still has a humongous percentage of its land owned by White Kenyans, the descendants of the colonial generation. (We cannot hold them accountable for their parents' transgressions) And despite all the documented crimes committed by the British Army on local Samburus, the Kenyan government has been sympathetic, and the British government is complacent in suppressing the same. It is like they are saying, "We gave you back a huge chunk of land, mind your business there. Do your thing there, we will do our thing here." The West Africans have woken up to the realization that they cannot achieve sovereignty with these occupying forces inside; one after the other, they are kicking out the French military. Kudos to them. The next step should be economic liberation.
