Here is my take on this issue. The government should build a large processing plant (by government financing or loan) to process the fish for local consumption and export to land locked African States. Additional industries that will be needed are cardboard box plant, ice factory, refrigerated trucks. So, how much jobs will be created, how much other industries can utilize this resource for more refined products? This is just a thought. Besides, you may not need Europe after all.

I think All African/Diasporan countries should take a 5 to 10 year break from the UN and reconsider their resources, contracts, land sales, immigration, infrastructures, agriculture, national and continental securities. In that time period, put a halt to any and all contracts that do not benefit the host country and/or impose tariffs on companies that don't benefit the host countries. Most countries do not allow foreigners to buy land with exceptions for diasporan. Agreed. Africa for Africans... while we're at it, kick bill gates out.

All these other countries want to jump the line...the question is: can Africans fish in your waters? Probably not! The conclusion is to have contracts with Senegalese fishing wholesalers that sell at market prices. Make sure locals always get the first choice! Don't let these other countries destroy your livelihood!

Maldivian water is closed for foreign fishing boats. The national defence force will detain any such vessel. Our Fishermen use Pole and line to catch tuna not big nets like other countries
