I am getting this game this week, I know its awesome because you get to play the unplayable characters in basara samurai heroes.

Actually, in reality, Uesugi Kenshin in real life was extremely feminine. Not only in his face, but he had a soft more female voice. Which is why they do that in this game, to make fun of the real life Kenshin.

Kenshin being feminine and having a female voice is probably a reference to how there has been speculation that the real life Kenshin was a woman in disguise. Basara's producer has refused to clarify Kenshin's gender in interviews. Tons of women fought to protect themselves, their loved ones, and their land during the Sengoku era. Saying someone can't be badass because they're female/feminine is just plain wrong.

Kenshin is a guy. They made him ironically androgynous because they could. My guess why the did it is because he was called The True God of War thus making him "manly," so to give the series a "WTF" factor they made his voice feminine and give him a slim figure.

Maybe because you have the vanilla version of the game like Basara 3, Basara 3 Utage has these characters, not samurai heroes or the vanilla version

Lol.. Just saw him getting on his way by hisw freezing power & all stupid guys just die by his passby. Damn great Kenshin & his freeze skill... even horse oso lose by his dashing skill (luckily d skill take on from PS2).
