The thing about this Oichi is that in this game, this is her after Azai's death, and base on what Oda remnant forces say, presumably also after her own death as well. Either a living phantom of Oichi's grudges and darkness, or a physical body with no soul as presumably, her soul probably died after her husband's death.

I just noticed that in both Mitsunari and Nobunaga route, her body is constantly shrouded in dark aura and she looks like a walking corpse most of the time. But in Tokugawa route, her body isn't shrouded in dark aura and looks a little more alive. Looks like Tokugawa's kindness is enough to tame her lmao.

What's so cool about this Oichi is that she compares the people she met as to animals besides Tokugawa & Ishida as Lord Happy(Ieyasu) & Lord Grumpy(Mitsunari). Not in a way where she looks down on them but as they are majestic and rare animals she never seen in her life.

Collin Leblanc if you're still interested her husband (nagamasa azai) was killed by her brother (nobunaga oda) and has now lost all purpose in her life with no one. She wanders literally everywhere she so pleases with no guide of anything not knowing that her own brother killed her till the end of her story (nobunaga shot and killed her in the head) I would have amnesia and be clueless too if I've been sleep for dozens of years note that I got shot in my head. Her story is one of the deepests enough to tip an ice burg in the sengoku basara series. But lets keep moving forward. In sengoku basara 2 (back then when she had purpose and was mostly alive back then) She basically was a side character but new to the series. A side character of the azai to be exact. (Nagamasa azai of course cause this was her husband) Nobunaga then wanted to see what was so special bout this man to the point where oichi ran away from the oda to the azai family to be with nagamasa. I forgot which battle he died in and why did nobunaga kill oichi tho. Been a minute since I played it. And basically everybody from the Oda family is dead too such as (Nouhime, Ranmaru etc) dont know how "Tenkai" is alive tho knowing hes a traitor. -_-

Actually that's her second husband. Shibata was high-ranking officer within Nobunaga's army but lost in the fight to pick up the reins. He and Oichi committed suicide together when Hideyoshi laid siege to their castle. Historically speaking.

i think you missing one cutscene in Disturbance at Kanegasaki/Siege of Kanegasaki stage where we can choose it between fighting Hideyoshi/Tokugawa forces or we can confront Tenkai/Oichi that opens up to Siege of Kanegasaki then to Nobunaga stage. That one cutscene had pretty deep meaning too. well since you need other character to get this cutscene it'll probably too much work. Nice vids, my love for Oichi will never stop. Basara & Musou Oichi share one thing in common historically, Azai Nagamasa's death.....but in basara it's taken a step further. His death leads Oichi to fall into the darkness of depression & sadness, this is compounded more when she is forced to continue to fight for the Oda and then when Mitsuhide kills her brother Nobunaga, Nohime & Ranmaru at Honnoji. With her lover and all those she cherished dead yet she still lives, her body wanders aimlessly but her heart & mind are very much dead.

Oh just so I understand to do a path you need to make an alliance with a certain character. Like Oichi here her choices seem to be either Ieayasu or Mitsunari (Mitsunari's path suck from the way it looked here).

All right just so I understand: Nobunaga kills Nagamasa Oichi goes insane by this and she ends up killing Nobunaga's wife Nohime (I remember she's called No in Samurai Warriors) and Ranmaru (I swear first time I saw him I thought he was a girl). And then there was a battle at Honoji. The building collapsed but Oichi survived but has memory loss which is why she's like the way she is. That right?
