In this exercise video, Meredith is guiding you through an all seated HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) workout for those who may be just starting with exercising or feel comfortable at a beginner level pace. You don't need any equipment to do this workout except a sturdy chair that you feel comfortable in.
This exercise incorporates intervals of 30 seconds of "work" and 10 seconds of "rest" which is great for your cardiovascular system as it keeps your heart rate engaged throughout the entire duration. The movements are easy to follow and can be done anywhere in the comfort of your own home.
Remember to only do movements that you are comfortable with and that don't cause any pain or discomfort. Keep your water close by and take breaks when you need to.
