Beautiful voice! Diction and intonation are superb. Coloratura are smoothly executed without any hint of force or struggle. Sometimes the forte is too much and blossoms too suddenly, but I guess that is a question of interpretation. Very well done. I love your voice.

This the most satisfying performance of this aria I have heard. This hauntingly beautiful aria is a favorite of mine, esp because of its tragic back story. It is difficult to do well; its upper register should not be full voice nor should it be falsetto. You have a most wonderful ease in negotiating the passagio. You don't have to cover as a heavy tenor voice would and by using an open voice, your sound is clear, penetrating, and beautiful and well connected in line with the lower register. The brilliant sound of an open voice can be too much for recording equipment; hard to tell except being at the actual performance. Most voice teachers will want you to cover more in the upper register. I recommend you study the recordings of Gigli and early di Stefano who also had great ease in the passagio and a beautiful open, not covered sound.

"The most satisfying" etc? What an utterly, utterly stupid assertion. I doubt you know anything singing whatsoever. You're effectively saying that the efforts of the likes of Anthony Rolfe Johnson, Mark Padmore, Ian Bostridge - to name but a few - are mere also ran artistes in comparison. Preposterous. I've rarely if ever come across such a ludicrous claim as yours. Please don't bother to even attrmpt to reply because, UNREAD, I'll instantly delete. Xyrfisd!

Not Mark Padmore - listen to his voice , the gentleness, softness needed to pluck the heart strings. You have a good voice that would benefit from less insistence on the notes, more on the tone…

Allowing for the terrible acoustics,he has a lovely voice, and very clear diction (Not always observed by some singers)

To make the stunning claim that this is the "most satisfying performance" of this aria you've heard is breathtakingly absurd, it reduces the likes of Anthony Rolfe Johnson, Mark Padmore and Ian Bostridge - to name but a frew - to the rank of mere 'also ran" singers. I'm still reeling from the magnitude of your astounding assertion. Cetainly this young man's rendition is most pleasing though I feel he's hugely let down by a distinctly plodding pianist. Please don't bother to reply because, UNREAD, I'll instantly delete. You appear to have a great deal to say and nothing worth hearing.
