Well, this isnt breaking news. Ive been guilty of ageism too, when i was in my 20s. That was a long time ago. As a female, we get trashed all through life. "What do you know?, youre just a young girl!" Now, its "What do you know? You're just an old bag!" Im 67, in good shape, but not a beauty queen. And i dont care what grumpy old men think. Or anybody else, for that matter. Freedom feels good!

Working with the elderly it's such a joy to me I've had many women friends that are older than me and I enjoy them so much they have given me so much wisdom and I try to help them because their world has changed with the internet and everything so it's not easy for them to understand and I'm not that young but I am still like in the middle of the internet age so I'm able to help them and then they teach me things still so they are a wealth of information they are the jewels of the Earth and they are precious

Words do not come out as fast as I am thinking, I just say Brain Over Stimulation. Most say Senior Moment. But I have heard comments when some say they are having a senior moment, and someone said "Oh , I thought it's all the time", or one said "when is it not"

How are you able to conclude that the elderly are baring the brunt of mistreatment? Doesn’t that sound an awful lot like blaming someone else for your problems? Or is that only for younger people who criticize older people as you are quick to point out?
