Sennheiser EW100 G2 - Review

Sennheiser EW100 G2 - look at the G2 wireless body pack transmitter and receiver with camera hot shoe mount and test of the audio from the included ME2 omni directional lav mic, great audio and even more so the range you can use these units from are astounding over 100m+ and still works by this time most others have FAILED!

Hi Martin, I'm having a real hard time finding a tutorial on how to use this model in combination with my old Samsung S5 smartphone. I have the set configured and synchronized ready to go but I'm stuck at that point. I feel that it must be a real obviously simple task given that it's not out there on YT. Can't wait to use it.

Hey Martin; Would I be able to use a Y connector (1 male, 2 female) on the Sennheiser EW100 G2,receiver, to monitor the audio, with earphones, while using this on a DSLR? In other words, will it change the db scale? My Nikon D5200 does not have an earphone jack:) Thanks, Ron

Ronald Wolf there would be no reason why you couldn't do this if you can get the right connector, wouldn't affect the audio as long as the connector was of good quality as all your doing is feeding the same source to another device

I have a G2 518-554 MHz receiver and a 626-668 MHz G3 transmitter does anybody know if they are compatible???

I hear too much noise and the voice is not clean. Perhaps a sennheiser ME2 would be better.
