That's a nice video.....I own a pair myself. 2 things I could never figure. 1. There is no indication to let you know of the Noise Cancellation is On or Off. 2. Knowing the battery charge remaining. Even the app doesn't give this info.

Shazad Irani on the top right hand side of your phone, there is a small icon with a set of headphones and a battery icon besides it, you can just look at that, or go through the app

I own a pair myself and I have the same problems as you do. When the pair is first turned on is the noise cancellation off? I am really struggling to figure it out.

Thank you so much for this. I thought mine were defective as they don't cut out much noise. Other videos had simulations that cut out way more. The sound reduction in this test is about the same as mine.

Nice review. Wasn't sure if mine was working or not having tried QC25's before and feeling the effect much more obviously. These are actually better with regards to I real world use where I don't want to be cut off from everything but cut out the main over the top noise. The QC25's tended to make me nauseous after a while.

How do i know if the ANC is on? i tried pressing both volume button simultaneously but there's almost no difference? the only difference is that there's a slight pause for one and there's none for the other after pressing the button. So which one indicates that the ANC is on? Is it the one after the pause or without the pause?

+Steve Dibbs I personally don't and have never owned an apple product so I don't really know how that works But.. I know that some times you have to disconnect the headphones from the the device it's connected to before it can connect to a different one. I say this because recently I had the same issue only to realize that when I turned the headphones on they immediately connected to my Tab A upstairs and I didn't realise it, so I consistently tried to connect it to my phone with no luck until I realised what was going on. Out side of this, I don't really know what's going on. SORRY

When you turn the headphones on, NC will be on to. But if you want to turn it off, you can hold down both the volume buttons and that will turn it off or on.
