The best headphones I've heard, that simple.

This analysis, is rather a cluster of sensations transformed into text when listening to a sound so different. Before I had a Philips Fidelio X1, I tested the Sennheiser HD650 and currently own a Sony MDR 1A. These are my feelings when comparing the Sennheiser HD700 with them:
I feel like I've gone from being a tightrope walker and walking on a rope, to being a driver of a two-story bus. The sound has gone from being a stream of water in a corridor, to fogging in an airport. The voices do not sing in my ear, now they resonate in a Greek amphitheater (recognized for being strategically built in places with perfect acoustics) where I am the only spectator.
The sound has stopped being strictly directional, (at least for what I was used to) with the HD700 it's like levitating in a bubble, the sound comes out from all sides, but without getting flustered. They are not a group of notes that try to leave through the same door and where some of them get stuck ... simply, there is no door.
I know that in all reviews they usually divide sections as "acute, medium and low". In fact, it was something he planned to do, but right now he would not know how to do it. And it is that what I notice is that any frequency has stopped wanting to be authoritarian in my eardrums, now there is a kind of musical democracy where no rank wants to be an autocrat. Acoustic anarchy.
Eye. All this does not mean that the other auris are bad, not at all. They simply play in different leagues. Maybe for hip-hop or electronic music I would take the Sony MDR 1A, since maybe in these musical genres I would do better.
The notes of the violin are now not painted on a wall by a mason with brushes, but they are played with a fountain pen and stamped on an unpolluted canvas. The bass no longer monopolizes all the protagonism, with the HD700 you feel like another instrument of the orchestra.
Fatigue? What is that? The large space, the diverse scenery and the immense image make it simply impossible to mention that word.
And even if I started with the sound, that does not mean that the aesthetics of the headset has left me indifferent, (only that the sound has eclipsed everything ...) In fact it is the opposite, I was surprised by the box for good, it is very high quality, very elegant, simple but forceful and seems durable.
And going to the helmets, well ... I'm about to take them to Iker Jiménez, since they seem to be made by aliens.
The headphones feel very light, but not flimsy (as I read there). I love his futuristic style, but of course, that's something very personal. The materials are plastic, (but of good quality, important nuance) a gummy material unknown to me and aluminum, in addition to the pads, which cover the entire ear and are made of microfiber, very comfortable and not at all hot.
The cable (3m) looks like it was made by Hephaestus, (returning a bit to classical Greece) the God of fire and forge, since in my life I had a cable that I thought was so well made, construction of 10 in all fields. Perhaps, the only downside, is that it did not come included an adapter to 3.5, I guess it would have been something of his evil brother Hades ...
To conclude, there are people who leave more than a thousand euros on a high definition television, so we should not be afraid of buying audio equipment of the same size, (only worth half). The less, it is worthy of reflection.
