Hope I can get a quick answer: XVive answered their U3 will do this, hoping your XSWD can as well: If I use an inline 48v phantom power source (See XVive P1 rechargeable-battery op'd phantom power unit for example) between a condenser-headset mic and your XLR transmitter, I'm assuming that will produce an appropriate signal for the receiver, without that extra 48v causing any problems in the XSWD...? I'm woefully ignorant of the specific electronic interactions involved, but am reasoning from a couple of knowns: a) that when I run the phantom power on my mixer, we don't worry about frying the non-condenser stuff, seems to not be a problem, and b) the fact that another 'no phantom power' XLR xmit/rcv setup like the aforementioned XVive U3 is unfazed by it. Although, somewhat confusingly, their U3C, their wireless-mic setup that DOES have phantom power, says IT doesn't support dynamic mics...so, I don't just want to "assume" your xmitter will accept a phantom-powered condenser-mic signal as clean, appropriate input when your unit is double the cost of other models I *know* will let me keep using my indispensably clear-&-articulate condenser vocal mics. ;) Any reassurance on that point (plus maybe elaborating on when, if it's at all possible, phantom power could be *detrimental* in a signal chain like your gear represents...? That'd really help some of us, I think, if it's something that could be sketched simply & not too murky or voodoo or involved to get yourself dragged into. ;) Sorry if that was a bit rambling. Hope you get a notification when a new comment pops up. Thanks.

Can two transmitters connect and send data simultaneously to the same receiver.

As you are using 2.4GHz spectrum, can you vary the channel width to reduce interference? 2.4GHz is the most used unlicensed spectrum world wide. Everything you can imagine uses that spectrum. From internal network routers to municipal utilities to wireless garage door openers use this spectrum. How does one reduce interference in such a dirty spectrum so that the audio signal is pure without interference?

I apologize for the question. I just found part 4 where you explain the diversity.

The receiver and transmiter have baterry built in right? what happen when the battery its used to much and dont give the same prestation as at beginin? get 300€ to trash and buy another one just for battery? and 5hrs after 1 year of use can go easly to 1hr and worry about battery all time because i cant replace it. So my work will be limited at 1hr and pry to take a good interviews in that time. its nice because it is small but have limitation.

Hi Slevin. Thank you for your feedback, we will definitely pass this along to the product team. If the battery is faulty or stops working, our customer support team will be more than happy to take a look and see what can be done to make it right. We do hope you get the chance to test this system!

SLEVIN SHAFEL It seems to be an easy fix to do yourself with a standard battery www.eoshd.com/comments/topic/30340-sennheiser-xsw-d-batteries/ (a guy opened it).

@@larsosejohansen Excellent link - I was wondering this myself. I should have known EOSHD would be on it! :) I wanted to ask if you went for this Sennheiser kit in the end? If so, did you find it easy enough to pop the shell open like EOSHD has done? Also, any experience using more than one kit in close proximity to each other? Any interference between two(or more) packs? Thanks.

@@ALMFoster Yes, I bought 2x of the Sennheiser XSW-D lavalier kit. And I really love them, they are great for the price I bought them for. I have not a single problem reccomending them, they have good signal even if I go down the stairs and to the basement. Haven't had problems with the connection or signal in general in a hall with over 300 computers and mobile phones. I have recently gotten some buzzing sounds, but I haven't had time to source out the problem. As far as I can remember, I haven't used both of them together at the same time. And I have not opened them up as the battery life is still good for me, and we have, in way, 5 years of "warranty" here where I live. If you have any more questions, I will gladly elaborate. :)

@@larsosejohansen Thanks Lars! Great to hear you are happy with them as I went ahead yesterday and bought one to test it out. I need it to put on my subjects as I run and gun making short documentaries. I'll always be pretty close to my subject but I don't want to have to worry about them turning their back to camera and losing signal. The alternative was the Rode Go Wireless mic but I saw a video of someone turning their back to cam right in front of it and the signal dropped. No good for my work. Hoping the sennheiser will be better in that regard (it looks it). Let me know if you are able to do a little test with the two units working simultaneously. Be interested to see if you get any interference between them. My plan is to have the receivers sitting right next to each other (probably touching each other) on my rig too. No stress, but if you do get a chance I'd love to hear the results. Have a great weekend! 😃🙌

What a crock of 'claptrap'!!! Try and be natural with your conversation instead of pre-defined 'sycophantic' questions. Totally turned me off 'buying'; the conversation was soo amateurish and FAKE!
