Bit late I know, but only just found site! Well put together video and very informative, however, just a minor point this is NOT a knot tying tool but a loop SIZER tool. I clicked on thinking I had found the ultimate bit of kit for tying loops!! Thankfully Towy Angling also did a bang up job of showing us how to tie the knot loop in the first place. I know they say the figure of eight is a stronger knot but this little tools hasn't let me down. Had a 17lb carp on 0.13 using it to tie the knot last weekend

It's not a loop tyer though, as you tied the knot yourself. It should be relabelled "2 sizes, loop determiner"

You miss the point, the tool enables you to tie loops of a consistent size which is something that is important to many anglers

The Preston Quick Stop Tyer is far quicker and easier to use than that contraption.

Thats a pointless tool..you already made the loop..use a loop tyer...much easier to do
