I went last year to Sensation Amsterdam and I think it looked more amazing and pretty than this year, with the big statues and lightning balls all over the roof going up and down. Also it was a magical moment in the night with a chorus introducing "Adaggio for strings". I would like if any person went to both editions could tell me his opinion about this one and which one prefer.

I've been to Sensation Riga Space 2007 & 2008 Oak of Love, Amsterdam Wicked Wonderland 2009, Ocean Of White London 2011, Amsterdam Pleasuredome 2014, Legacy 2015 and Angels and Demons 2016, I've seen Sensation transform from Trance music to House and now to EDM but I wasn't there just for the music I was also there for the show and by far Angels and Demons dissapointed me the most. I understnad that ID&T decided to experiment with dresscode but that took away the magic of "all white dresscode" stadium sensation. Decorations were also not as impressive as Legacy or earlier years. Also the fact that they allowed "mister Guetta I know how to press the play button" to have 1:45 hour set is just sad as his extra time was compensated by shorter sets from other Dj's. Also I really got pissed off with the fact that they changed Arena Cards from this year and were not allowing to use them on upper floors any longer (wasted 40 minutes on finding where to purchase them and then going back to return them for refund as they were useless to me) Stupid thing with water being sold in one half of the stadium only in plastic cups and then in other parts of the stadium you could easily buy it in a plastic bottle without a cap. In overall I wasn't dancing until 5.15a.m. in the morning when Yellow Claw started playing some decent music, but again, maybe I am simply no longer in the trend of what is popular, as I did see people enjoy Guetta, Nicky Romero, Don Diablo. Not so sure now if we will be coming back for 2017 edition.

Went both years, last year was amazing and this year it was just ok, i would give it a 3 out of 6. Guetta was trash, sound on the dance floor was not that great, overalll felt like a EDM event, not a hint of underground music and not that much of a wow factor. This was my last sensation

Thank you guys for all your responses. It's possible I will come back on 2017 edition and I wish there is a great line up and better decoration. I have also been in big festivals like Tomorrowland, EDC Las Vegas, Ultra Miami and the next week I'm going to Creamfields UK. If you'll ever return to AMS, if this is a respiro moment for Sensation in NL, I just hope it is also a moment of rethinking the whole strategy around the project and for one time simply listen your fans and what legacy you carried with you after years of great shows. Sensation left Amsterdam last year like a defeated fighter after yet another weak round. Just like the last years were. And when Sensation will rise again on the Amsterdam Arena, may it be on quality trance, quality techno and whatever you will feel like you read on the feedback of thousands of fans that are craving for what Sensation used to be.

This was the first time i went to Sensation, i liked it, had a lot fun and enjoyed cause i really wanted to go a long time ago specially in Amsterdam, but i expected more than it was, i have seen others and looks so much better than this one. Music now is trash and definitely David Guetta was the worst dj they could have invited...

Sensation organizers, go to Untold Festival at least once and you will understand how far you did fall year by year! I was this year at both and Untold is the best Festival I ever attended! DJ's from Untold was 100% better than Sensation, music was incredible! 5 hours of Armin Van Buuren mixing in front of 70000 People, till the sunrise! That make the difference. 3 top DJ's ( Fedde Le Grand, Tiesto and Mike Like & Dimitri Vegas) mixing from 00:00 till the sunrise one after antother! That make the difference! Organization 100% better - 40-50 different type of restaurants and fastfood in the area of Festival, very good food, any type of drinks! Beer, cocktails ( absolut, juice or whisky with cola or havana club or a lot other good alchool ) and the prices.....priceless! 1 beer - 1.8 Euro; any 1 cocktail ( Vodka Absolut with Juice or RedBull or whisky or havana club or anything else ) - 3.6 Euro. And drinks were good, beer had real 5 % alchool, not like at sensation - 1 beer 5 Euro, but 1 % alchool ( like you drink water ). Ticket price! - 90 Euro for 4 days of Festival! Untold is unbeatable at this moment ( The Greatest Festilval of DJ's at this moment) from all point of view! P.S. So Sensation if you want to be alive, try to forget that you was the best a lot of time, and bring back to all us the old best Sensation White!

Too bad they exclusively played mainstream crap music. Even when there was a good mainstream song in there, they changed the drop which completely ruined the ambiance for me. For instance, Bromance by Tim Bergling(Avicii) got my attention, but then they fucked it up completely by totally changing the drop.
