to get your hair as flat as possible you should braid it down under the cap (at least 6-8 cornrows) and it should be easier to put on the wig and have it lay nicely and you don’t really have to do the bald cap method tbh it’s kind of a waste of time

i use mousse and water when i go to bed at night then twist them then in the morning, untwist them then use mousse and water :)
