Matt should feature more in this acoustic covers, I realy like the simple percussion that can be done without a drumkit, but using bongos, box, or tambourine, it gives a much relaxing atmosphere

We learn mostly by ear, but, for whatever we can't figure out, we look up tabs. Personally, I hate looking up tabs because, even if the tab has a good user rating, they are often incorrect. Another thing we do sometimes if we're having trouble is find live performances of the band we're covering, or watch some guitar covers, although 100% accuracy in those are rare. "Buried A Lie" was learned completely by ear.

This was my tambourine debut. I literally learned how to play a tambourine a couple days ago to expand my horizons a bit. Having been behind a kit so much, I always overlooked simple percussion and thought playing a tambourine would be a breeze. Given all the patterns you could play, it's more extensive than I thought and I will be trying to incorporate various forms of percussion in future videos. On another note, I come off apathetic in the video, but that wasn't the case... hahaha. - Matt

Yeah, I find this simple percussion realy nice for this acoustic songs, some people remain using a drumkit for acoustic songs, which isn't actually wrong, but its more beautiful to use different sorts of percussion. So in my opinion that is a very wise step, so keep up with it!
