I won't take off my belt because it's holding up my holster that has my gun in it.

on the knife it is better to execute the cover strategy, crash and count instead of blocking by the whole body of the armed limb because he will use the other then when he stabs repeatedly and VERY DIFFICULT to block the arm.

So many ways eh could have subdued the knife guy. When he got on top of him he could have put the guy’s knife hand in a triangle arm lock and stayed on him.

A silly but good example of improvised weapons use is Jackie Chan movie “the Big Brawl”. Fight at open air theater using bench as a weapon. Comic kungfu to be sure but the concept is the point.

A chair beats a knife 90% of the time, if you use the chair violently while attacking the attacker. I once watched a sparring partner of a famous Mexican /Spanish pro boxer neutralize two sheriffs deputies with his belt & buckle before the third officer tased him.

What's funny was his bunch of thrown keys almost blinded the "staged" attacker. It's just a practice, never apply an undiscussed attack that may cause permanent harm on your sparring partner. It was a near disater if those keys landed on his eyeball.

Great technique but why would you let anyone grab your shirt in the first place.

Because its an ambush attack and no warning is given.. Badguys use deception and invade your space.. Weapons are usually hidden by those with bad intent..

When a person pushes harder and harder, takes more effort the faster ones heart beats. And if stabbed in a manner that some of the major blood vessels have been severed, the harder a person pushes and takes effort the faster one bleeds to death. I now a man who walked away from knife inflicted stab wound in the gut and he said that he hardly felt the stabbing, so it's probably possible to keep on fighting after a knife inflicted injury. But the higher your heartbeat is the more you loose blood. So not much of a instruction from a experienced self defence instructor.

yes but like he said... what else are you gonna do if someone is viciously attacking you with a knife and has stabbed you a couple of times? you have to fight to survive, you cant just tell your attacker "aahh you got me dude, alright im gonna walk away now, dont wanna get my heart pumpin too fast, see ya"

+Gabeothasicomono I'm just saying that he dies while defending himself, he would start to slow down and go all sluggish. So I don't see the point of this exercise.
@salvarsaani8 жыл бұрын
+Gabeothasicomono Also his muscles would cramp up from every stab because the blade cuts the muscle fibers and he would loose the control of that area. The autonomical nervous system would take controll and try to minimize the bleeding by contracting the muscles.

better than just giving up and let someone continue stabbing you brutally with no remorse.. if calling for help or running away is not an option then your best bet is to defend yourself how ever you can and hope for the best, not just admit defeat.

+Gabeothasicomono My point is, that the display on this video is not possible in real life after you have been stabbed 30 times to your abdomen. It's not possible, you can't move after it, probably just die after first 20 stabwounds, or slip into unconsciousness because your brain shuts down from the shock. It takes just a one wound to send your mind on a orbit around your head. This video creates false hope and is a pure product of imegenation.

If you grab the wrist with both hands the knife wielding attacker will not be able to manipulate the knife weapon!!!
