Clear sound quality from the separate microphone, sir! Appreciate the wet belt alert screen too!

No separate microphone this time, sir... Oh yes, many more wet timing belt alerts to come...

Can’t see Vauxhall existing as a brand in 10 years.

We will have to see, sir, won't we?

Seems nice Joseph but is Vauxhall done or do you think the Luton Factory will reopen I have no idea best regards Andy Allen.

We will have to see, sir... Nothing is quite certain yet.

Vauxhalls will still be assembled by Opel and sold in the UK. Nobody cares where a vehicle is assembled

These Grandlands are not made over here, as far as I know.

If the forbidden fuel is well forbidden and a certain royal Peugeot engine is also unmentionable.... Are PureTec and EcoBooms also going to be banned good sir?
@lloydvehicleconsulting11 күн бұрын
It's getting to that stage, sir, although I have not quite decided yet. For now, we have the wet timing belt alert....

@lloydvehicleconsulting alas it's coming to an era where many ICE engines are about as flimsy as a product from Wish! Therefore nothing could be mentioned
@lloydvehicleconsulting10 күн бұрын
If that turns out to be the case, then there we are, sir. Fortunately, many manufacturers never went over to the wet belt design.

Sir, from someone further away from the market, it appears to me that Vauxhall has become a neglected brand with little identity left of its own. In an environment where brand cachet is all important, it's no wonder Vauxhall has suffered. Yet, they maintained a highly successful business for 40 years after they lost design and manufacturing autonomy, reduced to assembling Opel parts.

Back in the 1990s, Vauxhall/Opel were bigger than Ford in Europe. A couple of years ago, the Corsa was the best-selling car in this country. Now, the Corsa doesn't feature in the Top Ten, and Vauxhall is consistently outsold by Audi. It is a strange world...

Not bad except for the engine? I spotted 9.4mpg on the dashboard. That might be the last journey which could be just driving round the corner….my car has that but hidden away. I just hope 9.4mpg is not typical 😂
@lloydvehicleconsulting10 күн бұрын
I drove only about half a mile from the dealership to the location where I filmed around the car with a cold engine, which would explain the terrible MPG on the screen.

Eco boom engines or full EV…. Can’t see Vauxhall being around a few years from now.

I think we have a Very Vague Vlog about Vauxhall's future coming up at some point soon....
