I started saying mental prayer by saying the rosary word for word in my head. It may take 2 or 3 times longer. Then internally I found out He loves to hear us pray I found myself eager like a child doing something our parents would be happy or even just smile. He reveals Himself in many mysterious ways

The shepherd children of Fatima obtained high degrees of prayer by means of the rosary. It has within it all the types of prayer and so can be used as a great and easy method of mental prayer. Godspeed.

That was beautiful and so very true. I try to share with others that this relationship with God is always possible. For all of us to abandon all “control” to do His will. That is VERY VERY hard but as you grow you don’t even notice that He is changing you from the inside out. God Bless

The old eucharistic prayer (no.4?) states, all who genuinely seek God with a sincere heart are saved, so not solely saved within the Catholic Church, but that helps a lot. One is saved by justification, not anything done of our own selves.

Prayer Seeking The Forgiveness Of Mortal Sin Lord El Shaddai all sufficient one, through the most holy blood that your son Jesus shed for my sins and those of the whole world, through the purist intersession of our most Holy virgin mother Mary and all the saints, I humbly beseech you admitting that I am a sinner in desperate need of your mercy and forgiveness for my own sake, my family, my community, and all those in this world who repent from there wrong doings that have offended you, your son, and your most holy spirit. Search me deeply and remove from me any hidden demons or root cause of any sin that separates me from you and prevents me from carrying out your holy will in my life. I confirm to you that I reject and condone the sins of our ancestors that resulted in our world being separated from your light, knowledge and wisdom of eternity in exchange for the darkness of a world that lives and dies. I choose to walk always in your truth that you so kindly bestowed upon us through your most Holy scripture's, I confirm my obedience to you and the system you planned for our world before sin, I reject all the systems and temptations of satan and his army of disobedience and from this point onward I will sin no more. Amen Blessed be the name of the lamb whom takes away the sins of the world, blessed be the name of my rock who set me on high and gathered me out of the darkness into the light with open eyes.

prayer seeking the forgiveness of mortal sin? why not just go to the sacrament of confession? the only way one can be absolved from sin is through a priest - in persona Christie - as Christ's representative on earth. its a great exorcism as well. can help you get rid of those hidden demons you mention.
@johnjones69648 жыл бұрын
why do you feel you have to go somewhere to be absolved of sin, why not just say the prayer, best to say it on a rosary.
@marcbrowna89368 жыл бұрын
John 20: 21-23. Christ gave man (priests) the authority to forgive sins acting in His place as His representative. there is no other forgiveness of mortal sin outside of a perfect act of contrition which is next to impossible to pull off. Are you Catholic? Did you never receive the sacraments?

Those who worship me will worship me in Spirit. None of us living now will ever know what Mary or Messiah looked like.
@ibachmike38 жыл бұрын
Is the first part of that statement scripture or just something you made up? Jesus said we would worship the Father in Spirit and in Truth. John 4:24 24 God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth." As for your nobody knows what Jesus and Mary look like, just as the monks of the Church, dedicated their lives to duplicating the Holy Scriptures by hand. The icon artists of the Church and especially of those in Eastern Orthodoxy dedicated their lives to duplicating the paintings of the earliest Christian Saints. Paintings that have been meticulously reproduced for 2000 years. We also have the shroud of turin, which many artists have used for inspiration in creating artwork depicting Jesus Christ.

@jyotikijyoti5 жыл бұрын
Ella it is said the first picture of the blessed virgin Mary was painted by St Luke. The apostles SAW Jesus Christ and Blessed Virgin Mary. We Catholics saw, and fortunate than those unfortunate ones whose churches are founded by men. And yes the apparitions! Yet people want to argue.... Clearly these are the people who do not believe in Jesus or His apostles.
