You made a cogent point in that; if we could see Heaven in this life we would die because this life would become too painful to keep living...Maybe that is why an individual who is filled with God's consolations is at times forced to cry. This physical reality becomes painful to us when filled with His goodness, and the senses express this anguish through tears.

I know that protestant’s don’t see that at first,(neither would I actually if I were a protestant),but as you’ve quite rightly said please dear Holy Spirit,(God himself),open eyes and heart’s. Great teaching as always Father. I just have one question: why so many comparisons do dogs? What's wrong with dogs and all the living creatures? God created the Earth and everything on it and saw it was good. Then he created a man. God is love , so whatever God created is good, comes from God's love. God's spirit is everywhere , isn't it? All life comes from God. So, why we should belive animals are only " material" . Obviously they are not material . They are living, feeling creature. They are beautiful, innocent and pure. They have no sin. Of course the man is the greatest creation of God and we should never place an animal above or equal as human but.... In Bible there are so many mentions of animals. Animals were even present at Christ birth! Dogs only want to be loved and love. Maybe we could learn something about it from them and .... birds of course.

God CAN create a boulder he cannot move! He did that in the incarnation when he chose to become weak for our sakes in assuming a true human nature, without losing his divinity. Second Person assumes the weakness and beneath a true human nature falls beneath the weight of the cross, three times. Hence the mystery which shocks even the angels. You can NEVER outsmart God. If you think you know, know you know nothing. Our wisdom to God is heavily flawed.

Most procreation is LUST not love. The higher path to God is not a married life but celibacy.
@jennifersterett11913 жыл бұрын
I agree that the higher path to God is through celibacy. However, if God meant for everyone to be celibate then He would not have commanded mankind to "be fertile and multiply". Humanity would have come to an end by our own means otherwise. Procreation that flows out of the marriage covenant can be done in purity and love when spouses desire to please God foremost in their lives. We pray to the Holy Spirit for the blessing of unity and the fire of His Love to fill us when/while we are together. I suppose you are correct that for "most" it may flow out of lust, but that always leads to emptiness. As we seek to fill the void in our hearts with the Lord and give our all totally to Him, we can make it an act of love. It took many years of marriage for me to embrace it so prayerfully and to realize that it is a continuation of the sacrament of marriage.

I'm at 8.35 and I see this preacher knows nothing about animals and their afterlife. Or rather, he is very knowledgeable about many things, but certainly not animals, but he thinks he is. I would rather he wasn't preaching with confidence about things he has no idea of, because after this I am less sure he teaches correctly about other things. Oh well, onto to another yt clip.
@sandie1573 жыл бұрын
I do wish Father wouldn't discuss animals though he's an expert and knows everything about them, because he doesn't know much beyond the coloquial . In fact, he's not a behavioural scientist and he knows almost nothing about them and it undermines his authority. It's an error in judgment and foolish because he needs that authority when he talks about matters he is an expert on. And then he spends time to justify Catholic teaching on the immortality of the human soul by talking about animals . The teaching doesn't need it, because the teaching stands on its own merit. Once he moves on beyond that section...the presentation becomes a valuable teaching.
