Sensus Fidelium, or anyone else, do you know of anywhere where we can pull up any more of Father Wolfe's teachings? Romans10seventeen only goes up to November of 2014. That is 2 and 1/2 years ago. I would love to be able to follow his weekly teachings, especially now in this time of crisis when we need Holy Shepherds to lead the holy way - i can't think of anyone else i would rather come to for help, for guidance, for protection.

Brian Decker Naturally! If a priest locks me in a closet, it's an opportunity to grow in holiness.

It was just an analogy lol.. he was saying that people are happy to walk in the doors and see the priest initially, but then they act like their locked in a closet and cant wait to get out so after communion want to break down the door down and get out of mass asap. He then implies its because people don't believe in the Eucharist that they behave this way. Also keep in mind that he can be borrowing off sermons over a thousand years old. Not many have broom closets anymore.

The analogy of the broom closet refers to the disposition by which the communicant receives the Eucharistic Lord. Hence, the disposition of the soul dictates how the individual hosts the Lord. Do they invite the Lord into the heart of the home or is He relegated to the cellar

Why do you pray as if you are running a race ? Why do you whisper and then raise and lower your tone of voice. Why do you speak in a hurry, as if you need to say whatever you wish to say fast rather than insure everyone listens if what you have to whisper is important. Do better. Replay this and listen as if you, like us are hearing you for the first time.

I doubt Father has either the time or interest in listening to his own sermons. He only cares about saving souls, therefore the different expressions in his voice and cadence. Get over it.
