Sorrowful Mother Mary has been my help in the past two years and eight months since I lost my adult son. She suffered so much and understands my tears, my sorrow. Our Heavenly Father has work for me still. Here I am Lord, I come to do your will.

I grew up with a Narcissist Mom. Understanding Our Lady of Sorrows was very hard for me because my Mom, when she cries, its meant for manipulation. And the Manipulation is very evil that it always make me wonder in gratitude that I am still alive today. Sermons/ Talks like this help me appreciate and understand this devotion more. I am very thankful to God everyday that even if I didn't grow up with a truly loving Mom, I'm glad I have Her. The Mother of God is the Best Mom i ever have in my life.

I hear you! My mom left me when I was 2 years old. My paternal grandparents raised me mostly, but more recently I feel that Mother Mary is my ONE TRUE MOTHER. God Bless you and yours!!!

Mary and Jesus both know the full extent of human suffering, and therefore, they are so willing able to console us from heaven, in our lives. God is so perfect to come up with this salvific plan. God knew it would take the most pure and obedient creature Mary to incarnate his divinity into human form so the son of God could walk this earth and teach humanity how to best worship God the Father and its God as son who offered up his life and suffered at the hands of evil to show how God alone can defeat death. Praise God for the blessed Virgin Mary for she co-operated with Gods Holy Will and gave us Jesus.. Mary, our mother, well earned by the foot of the cross and all the other sorrows. I love praying the 7 sorrows of our lady.

“My soul is sorrowful even to the point of death.” In the book of Sirach, these very words are spoken at the loss of a friend, now an enemy. “Father, if it be your will, remove this chalice from me. Nevertheless, not my will, but your’s be done.” Reflecting on these words, spoken by our Lord, I believe Christ’s suffering is magnified at the loss of this one sheep. There can be no coincidence that in quoting the wisdom of the Book of Sirach, Christ’s suffering is infinitely increased at the loss of Judas. We are all Judas. May we turn from our sinful ways and cooperate with our salvation. For Christ has come for all of us. I love you Jesus. “Lamb of God, have mercy on me. Lamb of God, have mercy on me. Lamb of God, grant me peace.”

Mary was the human vessel God used to present Himself bodily to the world. She was blessed among women for this reason. She is not a queen. Jesus never called her anything except woman. She is awaiting the resurrection as are all of the dead. The Lord thy God is a jealous God. God is one not a group of persons as falsely taught by the catholic church. To worship Mary is to choose the doctrine of men above the Word of God.
