Why do you use helping verbs in the first sentence, while the verbs provided there sufficiently convey their meaning? In the accident, one of my arms broke, and my legs bruised.

Sentence was given my FPSC in CSS-2017. It should be corrected with only minor changes to maintain its original structure.
