I've used Elsa app in the past but unstalled it later bcos it focuses on american accent and also it was not free. 😂 So, what do you say, Emma ?? Should I install it again?? 🤔

"Right now, there are people all over the world who are just like you. They're either lonely, they're missing somebody, they're depressed, they're hurt, they're scarred from the past, they're having personal issues no one knows about, they have secrets you wouldn't believe. They wish, they dream and they hope. And right now, they are sitting here reading these words, and I'm writing this for you so you don't feel alone anymore. Always remember, don't be depressed about the past, don't worry about the future, and just focus on today. If today's not so great don't worry! Tomorrow's a new chance. If you are reading this, be sure to share this around to make others feel better. Have a nice day!"

Thank you so much. My native language is a syllable timed language and the word stress is always on the first syllable. So I tend to sound robotic when speaking English. Your explanation is brilliant. I like that you also compare the right and a wrong sentence stress. It helps me a lot to realize what I usually do wrong.

Great lesson! You've said 'to the ' is pronounced a little bit different than 'to ' and 'the' and same case in 'can you' . How pretty those sounds were when you just chained the initial and terminal sounds of the words. Are there such certain rules in English? (Where as French is rich in using such kinds of joining:' liaisons' , 'élisions', 'enchaînement' etc.)
