Miika was a friend of my dad, my dad told me that Miika was used to drink a lot, took meds with alcohol and sometimes he had to be calmed down cause he became aggressive. He was banned from every bar in Muhos. My dad told me that Miika once spilled a beer on my dad's kitchen floor and cleaned the whole apartement. Apparently he had a very nice house, he and Sami gave my dad their first demo cassette when they formed the band. Rest in peace Miika

It's obvious how painful this tour was for Miika. He wasn't able to give us more, but he also couldn't live without being able to write music and share it with people. It may seem that he is joking and fooling around in this video, but all I see is a man in great pain.

Saw Sentenced live in 2002. All band members were quite nice, especially Lopakka and Kukkohovi, but the Miika I saw was a very reserved, kinda sad guy, which immediately rushed into the tourbus when he finished playing. The photograph of his music.
