That is a cool showcase of technology, but I would say it stops at the same moment where we did at our work, trying to implement similar solution, meaning that semantic analysis has a very strange correlation and is descriptive in nature. It is hard to build a trading strategy on that. Did you ever succeed in making it into real money?

At the moment I'm trying to get more sources of data. But yes, as I mentioned in the video the sentiment data is largely descriptive.

Does sentiment lead share price or does sentiment reflect share price?

From what I can see, sentiment is more a reflection of share price

Luke answer might be one sided.From my observation it's bidirectional means it's correlation until you observed or did analysis and as soon as you did analysis it might be still a correlation or a causal relationship depending upon your observation/analysis approach so it's again your approach of looking at that thing but yeah it draw down to causal one.I haven't analysed that much so that I came to conclusion which one is more prominent Does sentiment lead share price or does sentiment reflect share price in maximum approaches of observation. So in that case luke answer might be correct if he did enough analysis so that on the basis of all those historical information it can confirm.
