I wonder if this is a reference to when these three sang this in their 2nd live and the music cut out during their performance. It was even stated that Chihaya’s seiyuu was in the audience and sang along with them and everyone else when the music cut!

at first I thought if it was a reference to momozakiP's Azusa video, but yeah it definitely is a reference to the "Legendary Sentimental Venus" incident

It absolutely is a reference to that incident. A fun bit of fact is not only that none of the three idols here on stage are the original singers to Sentimental Venus (the original singers are Iori, Rio, Emily and Mizuki), but there has never been a piece of media which featured this specific combination of Anna, Fuuka and Nao covering Sentimental Venus in anywhere else but the 2nd live incident, just by this fact alone you know they are very deliberately referencing that incident.
