On the note of the big red boots, I think even if the thigh was out of the way then the shape of the shin on this version probably wouldn't lay flat. Beyond that, I think it is funny he's wearing Power Dagwon like that.

It's a possibility, but I believe if it was more flush, it would be a little more stable
