+Sibling Duel Yeah, it's a fantastic figure! Hopefully they do the rest of the team!

+Darryn Mereness Yeah, I heard the G2 Jason is now released in Japan, so should be shipping out soon from many retailers. Hopefully they make the whole team and dont just stop at these two!!

Sonic Boomerang! Please, ask all friends to send messages to Sentinel requesting they do the rest of G3, G4 and G5 characters. Thank you.

Gatchaman was the animated series known in Japan as science team ninja force gatchaman

I remember it as G-Force. I don't remember his name on that version though. I think it was Ace? Not sure. I might need this figure. I loved that show.

I knew him as Mark from battle of the planets.

I loved this show in the day. It was my daily afternoon routine with Star Blazers. I went back and watched them in college and the BOTP US version was pretty lame but I watched the dubbed Gatchaman and it was incredible. SO different from the watered down version. Keyop/Jinpei was a sick little bugger. Are they doing all 5 of the team in these? I'd be tempted to get them if they plan on doing the whole team. Are they 6"?
@KoolKollectibles8 жыл бұрын
+Vince Collier Yes, they're roughly 6" scale. I was hoping that they would announce the whole team, but things have been pretty silent since these two were released. I hope that's not a bad sign. Getting the whole team would be awesome! They're great figures, so it would definitely be a shame if they stop at just these two!

+Kool Kollectibles Thanks. I would love to get these but I don't want to pay $80 a piece for 2 and then not get the rest of the team. Companies have a bad habit of only doing Mark & Jason (Ken & Ryu) and then failing to do the rest of the team. You MIGHT get Princess as well but seldom get Tiny & Keyop. Diamond Select did a series with all 5 (and some variants) and Zoltar but they were pretty much static figures. Looked AWESOME but were not articulated at all really and finding Tiny is almost impossible. I got excited a few years ago when the company behind the CGI Turtles movie was working on a Gatchaman CGI movie and signed toy deals but then the company folded before they finished it. They had some INCREDIBLE TEASERS that came out too. A live action movie came out too in Japan but I've not seen it. It would be great if Figuarts or Figma would get the license and do a full team.

Great review, buddy! Man, I think I remember this cartoon, unless I mistake it with another one. Was it in this one were one of the had a weapon called the "Astro Spear"? It was like two parts he stored on his boots, and when he put them together they formed a spear. The helmet design seems so familiar, along with the chest design on the light up feature. I may be confusing it with another cartoon though :P But damn! The cartoons back in the 70/80's were something else that most of todays! Voltron, Robotech, He-Man, Thundercats, Brave Starr and not to mention The Transformers. Man, I so miss being a kid back in the old days LOL!

How did we not get 1/18 scale vehicles and figures from this line?
@KoolKollectibles7 жыл бұрын
These are 6-7" figures which is around 1/12th scale, not 1/18 scale. But 1/18th scale vehicles would've been nice, but pretty damn big I think considering the real life size of the space craft? I just wish they had completed the rest of the team and not just do Mark and Jason!

Good review, but I'm curious of the size/scale of the figure.
@KoolKollectibles7 жыл бұрын
It's in scale with most other 6"-7" figures.
@matiassotolopez78437 жыл бұрын
Oh cool, I collect mostly 7 inch scale (neca, Kamen Rider SIC and Diamond Select) so you say this will be nice with those?
@KoolKollectibles7 жыл бұрын
Matías Soto López Yes, I display these with my other NECA, Mattel, Bandai etc 6-7" figures. They look good displayed together.
@matiassotolopez78437 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the responses , mate! I think I'll get these. I hope they do the rest of the team
@KoolKollectibles7 жыл бұрын
Matías Soto López They've released the first two, but it's been a long time since then and no news on the rest of the team. I've been waiting, because these are great figures! If they dont finish the team, it'll be very disappointing for sure.

you should show the figure on fighting poses, and show how many it can do, thanx for the review keep it up :)
