Sentinels are really good on pearl and they worked the map better. Gen G honestly just threw too many rounds on abyss. They had sentinels low buy on map point and let sentinels force Ot anyway. This should have been a 3 map series. I think foxy 9 can hold his own but yoman plays a bit too slow and munchkin isn’t the fragger that meteor was in those spots.

Exposed is crazy. They slammed a site on match point and sentinels stacked it, round over. Gen G had a read knowing sentinels couldn’t buy op, they didn’t contest a main, so Gen G dived and sentinels hit shots to force with worse weapons. Neither team ran a sentinel on abyss.

Valorant should start a cycle of agent bans for competitive/official matches every patch at this point. With all the agents available, without bans you'll always end up with the same teams. It'll also be more fun seeing people play different agents for once. Like with how the neon nerf/phoenix buff, they could straightup ban jett and raze for patch X.X from comps. I know alot of one trick sweats out there are straightup gonna hate this take, but honestly i stopped caring about ranks at this point I miss having fun in this game

team options would be too limited, if they can't pick their good agents then it's almost impossible for each team to have their good comps. L move tbh, that would make the game become Overwatch.

It can work for ranked and for pro play both, people would need to come up with comps and starts on the fly and would make it more competitive but imagine being a pro in that situation, imagine you scrim the same map 3-4 different time to play out different comps

would be unique but honestly this would not be a good change. the games not like overwatch where some characters can substitute others depending on the map. 90% of the characters in this game are completely different to each other and it would make it hard to even be consistent in the game. you'd essentially have to relearn an agent based on every map. maybe an agent ban for comp like league, but having a month of a character being completely banned is not very fun.
