The v3 fixed alot i just bought one! It runs great love it! Instead of tape the guy at the hobby shop said use velcro soft side to keep rocks and dirt out

Your tips nailed it. I have implemented some of them on my Outcast already. I have tried to convert my pre-owned Arrma Senton Mega to 3S. It seems the Hot Racing metal spur doesn't fit with my Robinson 20T pinion. That is why I will use a plastic spur while the right pinion will travel from the US to Ukraine. Right on! I appreciate your view on the Senton. It is a bit skittish and squirrelly but it has its charms. Being light and way too fast for it's own good, makes for a challenging car to drive, yet, it really gets the old adrenaline up. Awesome!!! Thanks for subbing. AJ

I'm not sure if you have any experience with the 3S big rock, but what would you prefer between this and the big rock? My bashing areas pretty similar to what you have. Large rock driveway, large open grass fields that are trimmed and the small amount of dirt.

Thanks for asking. We do own both cars and for grassy or rougher terrain the Big Rock is a better machine. For formed areas the Senton rocks. We have both versions 6s and 3s and this applies for either version of the cars. Thanks again for asking. AJ

I have no idea how you didn’t kill the diffs. My big rock 3s destroyed the rear input gear within 2 weeks. My friend with a senton never broke his, someone else bought a typhon 3s and it also chewed the diff very quickly. I assume the SCT tires are significantly less load on the diffs.

Scorched RC makes a liner for under the body that does a great job on keeping crap out. Also put a center diff from the 4s Mojave in it... totally different Truck!

I just made a cover for the gap in the steering link area out of abs plastic and a little gorilla duct tape. Now no larger stones can get it there. Nice video by the way!

Yes the diffs are “out of the box” stock. RPM arms, steel spur gear. Tough little bugger. Stock motor and speed control. Thanks for asking. 😎👍

Super good tip & point I’m definitely going to try different oil weights in my bashers. I still see people complaining that there RC didn’t come with shock oil. 😂 Cracks me up everytime. I used to think they came filled already. 😊

I had senton mega went to 2s brushless setup. It was breaking left and right. Input shaft broken . Stripped spurs left and right. Leaky shocks. Melted the driveshaft by a piece of twig rubbing. Servo would always jam up with rocks and get locked up. Once I fixed all that I threw a net around the chassis to stop debris.

If you get a newer version then the shocks should work well out of the box. The oil can be tuned and they do not leak as the older ones did. Still, we searched eBay using - Arrma Senton big bore shocks - and ordered some of those. They seem to work good and they look cool, plus they are tunable. I’m sure there are others out there.

I hunted them up on EBay. Use this search: BIG BORE ALUMINUM Shock For 1/10 Arrma Senton 3S BLX Short Course Silver. That should get you there. AJ

The RPM arms definitely will break, for instance, if you hit a metal stop sign pillar at 25-30 MPH. Only half of the arm broke, and i just repaired it with globs of thermoplastic beads melted around it.

They are Traxxas slash aftermarket bodies that fit both the slash and the Senton 3S. There are many styles to choose from and they are prevalent on eBay if you simply search Senton 3S body. Thanks for asking, AJ

I was starting to think I was the only one who has blown the stock tires on this thing...switched to the traxxas slash ultimate BFG KM3s and haven't had an issue since...besides less grip but good video.

We used spectrum parts. 6 channel receiver and a DX3. This worked out very well.

It does, but I like it to do that. The car needs to expend the energy into the chassis or we wind up breaking other components. Shock oil plays a part in tuning the suspension no matter which shocks you have. Thanks for asking. AJ

Yep I have a V3 and I haven't had half those problems. Upgraded to badlands and the servo was junk. Killed one shock while getting nutty. Toughest 10th scale in the under 600 dollar range, not bad for a 380 dollar rc. 50 runs and still mashin.

With all the respect My first car was Arrma Vorteks.. and I brought ARRMA senton .... But after I buy a Traxxas Slash ultimate... I found the difference Traxxas is way more better than the Arrma ... You got multivarity options to convert the card anything you want You get more aftermarket parts upgradable... Which Arrma isn't capable with... Now I starting to like Traxxas...

Bought one for my kid and it's been terrible... 2 hours of drive time and bad motor/esc... spur gear... bumper... and drive axle... cant drive it in gravel because it gets into absolutely everything and destroys all the plastics parts... constantly upgrading and modifying... totally unhappy... sorry to rant on your vodeo but I just keep hearing they are so good and I just dont get it 🤷‍♂️
